one of my biggest dreams is to own a Geoffroy's Cat.
Do remember that owning a wild animal is not in any way the same as owning a domesticated animal.
yes, i do know that. i plan on having one of those large 'enclosures' that he/she cant escape form, and also let him/her into my house. im still young, but im sure my knowledge will improve.
No enclosure would really be good for a wild animal, if it's not the size of a small forest.
These animals hunt in the wild, which often means travelling far for every meal. Many animals in zoos and such places go stir crazy and begin marching back and forth or even injuring themselves, due to their limited space to roam around. I seriously suggest just getting a domesticated cat that looks similar to a geoffroys cat. Domestic cats have been living along side humans for a very long time, so they are used to being kept in much smaller spaces, and can easily be entertained and stimulated well enough. Wild animals are not pets and never should be seen or treated as such. The only appropriate excuse to keep a wild animal in captivity, is if they are not suited to live in the wild (injured, bred in captivity and thus would not know how to function in the wild, etc), or if it helps the species as a whole (which may be the case with some critically endangered species). Please don't fall into the trap of just wanting to own an animal because it looks cool. Seriously, this is how people end up owning tigers, and that isn't good neither for the "pet", nor the owner.
