& blood sweat and tears is the aesthetic video of the century. I probably say that about a lot of BTS's videos but I mean it for all of them c':

I slept through my alarms & woke up sick and then straight to school lmao c':
I cannot wait for the Dance ver, the choreography looked amazing. they're all intensely gorgeous.

for me, music-wise, this album isn't the best from them, only in my opinion of course. There seemed to be a lot of unnecessary auto tune & a lot of it was mainstream pop/electronic which personally isn't my preferred genre. I don't mean any disrespect to them, I know they're trying to appeal to the mainstream music crowd, which should be great for their popularity, I just personally love their voices without any filters. As much as I love the boy's as individuals I feel the need to be very honest about their songs, because they deserved to be viewed as artists. But, all that aside. the intro of mic drop. That. that there was gold. 0:00 - 01:14. and DNA is a bop, not gonna lie <3

last night, I decided not to stay up until 5 am for the drop since I have a doctor's appointment this morning and needed to get enough sleep so I wouldn't feel too sick to go! yet where did I find myself? too excited to sleep more than 30 mins at a time, so I gave up at 7 am and just went downstairs to listen. best decision of my life xD

I was speechless for the first hour or two after listening to the album and watching the mv. I was honestly so concerned that bts would have trouble matching the level of wings, but they did it,,,,,they totally did it omg

when I left for the appointment, they were trending at #3 in the united states. when I got home a few hours later, they were at #1 !!! I'm so proud of how far bts has come and continues to climb ;v;

as for my favorite songs in the album, illegal/dimple is probably my favorite with dna, pied piper, the best of me, and go go as super close seconds. I can't choose between those four haha, they're all amazing ??????? my goodness

also can I just say that tae totally snatched my life. who is his stylist, I want in on this lol. he's certainly my biggest bias wrecker, a part of me will always want my original bias back :") also his voice I'm so dead




then yoongi did the same thing and I almost fainted, he's too good for this world. I picked a great bias

and don't get me wrong. i'm still definitely a Yoongi bias with Hoseok as my main bias wrecker. but man Taehyung came outta nowhere and is wrecking my life. especially with this, he's too cute i'm crying

The MV was aesthetic, as always. Their visuals are generally always on point.

However, I'm at a point where I start being more critical of the music I listen to. BTS have such amazing voices they really don't need all that autotune as they have in DNA. It makes their voices so different than their actual voices are, and those are gorgeous. It just saddens me.

However, if BTS are happy with it than so am I. The MV was good, DNA was good, almost all songs were good, though I disliked MIC Drop, Serendipity, that one with GO in it and the last song.
