hey everyone! i need some help.

i got this new medicine cat apprentice while my cats were on patrol,
but i was saving the med app slot for lil tumble when he's older
i need to have my meddy cat apprentice get hurt, bad
bad enough that they can't continue medicine cat duties,
but not bad enough to stop her ability to have kits
ideas?

Maybe a run in with a skunk that takes her ability to smell so then they mix up herbs and almost makes a fatal mistake with poppy seeds and foxglove seeds?

@I.C. : could have something traumatic happen to her that involves herbs and/or the medicine den, then have her develope PTSD which prevents her from ever approaching either again. considering what i med cat does, short of them dying, there is really nothing that could prevent them from doing duites.

historically, there has been blind, lame, paralyzed med cats that perform their duties just fine.

i was thinking maybe breaking both her front paws, like in a climbing injury. without use of front paws, she couldn't gather herbs, swim, climb, or do much of anything. she'd be forced to retire to the elder's den.

Our maybe you could have her try it, be terrible at it and hate it, and change her mind so she decides to become a warrior instead, which she is so much better at.
