Usually I use a character I am really fond of and base it around that, not always anime :3

When looking for a theme, we will be running a monthly theme contest like thing where there will be prizes.

But for now, with themes; it is best to look into your interests and then combine it with something you don't tend to use often. Examples are Dragons and Leaves, or A town with flowers etc. Explore with your elements.

Flowers might not go with dragons, but it would be interesting to see something original and unique. :)

I wrote a guide on how to figure out a signature in the tutorial thread. I might extend that to include themes.

How do you decide on a theme for your signature?

I try thinking of one thing I think about or like a lot, or i'm inspired by other things such as pictures, youtube videos, gifs, etc. For example, If I just played a video game I LOVE, I'll make a signature based on it for later on use just for fun!

How do you decide on a theme for your signature?
Personally, it's a whole range of things. I usually have far more muse than I do ideas for sigs, which is why I opened a shop. But mine have had a lot of video game themes: Pokemon, (entei and eevee), I did one on youtube rewind when that came out. Faking It, the TV show. Uhm. Yeahh!
Basically just my interests, lol. (Though you may notice they always have the running secondary theme of galaxy/nebula. c;

Of course, when the monthly themes come in, I'll be making sigs based on that, hopefully.

How do you decide on a theme for your signature?
Often mine come from nowhere; I'll be sitting there and I'll think, "Woah, I'd love a signature of that!" I'm thinking my next signature will be a deadpool one.

If I'm using lyrics I'll often go with the song which has been stuck in my head for a few days {it helps get it out!}.
But often it'll just be based on characters or films or people I like, and it develops from there.
