personality;;
She is usually cheerful and peppy. Even when things are Grimm she does her best to give good encouraging talks to her friends. It makes her feel more hopeful even when shes shaking in her boots. So she enjoys being with others a lot and others seem to like how she can cheer them up. If you asked someone walking by what they think of her it would be "Hyperactive or a air head." She does tend to act like a air head. Its not really that shes dumb, but she likes acting like that and being around others. When shes alone she feels more sad and hopeless. Its unlikely she will talk about how shes really feeling unless you know her well.

(눈‸눈);; Last names? Well, lemme see if I can help in any way~

Shingeki no Kyojin takes place in a fictional land, as far as I can tell, but a lot of them have German last names. Ackerman, Arlert, Yeagar, and whatever else is there is German. There are a few that aren't German, being Smith, which I believe is English. I guess that leads me to believe that surnames for people in Attack on Titan should have come from Germany, since that's where it seems to take place...? Or, I mean, where a lot of them are from.

Not to mention that they were all pushed behind the walls, which doesn't seem like a large enough space to enclose a lot of places, if more than two. I know that they probably shouldn't have Japanese/Chinese/Oriental names, like a lot of people like, because they're not at all common.

So, I guess I'd recommend German last names, rather than anything else. Or something near Germany for a language to choose.

However, if you can put some sort of realistic idea of their family for a last name like that, it could, might, work.

Just, putting Japanese/Oriental last names wouldn't work, I don't think. Mikasa, even though she has a name that's German (probably from her Father's side.) was wanted by the three robbers that were killed because of her origin as an oriental person. She and her mother, also, were the last two of the oriental line anyone knows of, so having one wouldn't really fit in, because it would knock that down to being a useless idea.

Ya I was thinking of making her last name english or German because I agree, it does seem to take place in Germany and the characters do look mostly European or American. So I was thinking-

I like how Lotte Klein sounds a lot! u w u Yes, German names are probably the safest choice [even though some canon characters have names like Ymir, which is from Norse mythology]. Also, Behind The Name is a fantastic name generator if you're stuck, since you can narrou down the results by name origin and it gives you last names as well.

@Corporal Rivaille and anyone who's struggling with art of their OCs, I could give you a bit of help if you're like. I currently have a lot of free time in my hands, haha.

Ah, thank you for the interesting advice, I have been needing to come up with a name for my character and that helped a bit.
I'm thinking of making my character's name French actually, since France and Germany aren't too far apart.
But if German is the safe way to go, I'll go with German.

@Nagisa: I think French might also work, especially if you try to go with something from the region of Alsace, which was a territorry that, if I recall correctly, belonged both to Germany and France on different times. [As far as I've been able to tell, though, their local names seem to be mostly of German origin? Maybe you could combine a French first name and a German surname...] Just some thoughts qvq
