as long as you have 80% or more health you get 1 gem per day after i think 3 days?

As long as you keep your dragons feed over 80% then you get one gem every day! Its a little bonus for taking care of them and being active pretty much. :3

You can also trade treasure for gems with other users, offsite trading, sell stuff on AH or get them from chests from familiars.
Or buy them with real mony
