Believes firmly in Starclan, but in a few different ways. Many cats find her presence intimidating, as she is muscular and well fed, and well as being incredibly large (she is pure bred maine coon). She bosses alot of cats around, as she once was a leader of a band of kittypets. She doesn't dream of overthrowing the leader, and doesn't have 9 lives, nor does she receive prophecies. She sees a leader as a holy figure, and will always bow and respect them. She is great around kits, and has many stories she picked up on to tell kits. Children love her, and she is glad to be in the clan.

Songbird was once named Melody, and was the 'leader' of a group of heavily religious cats who followed Starclan, but didn't want to affiliate with the clans. Most were kittypets who wouldn't dare dream of leaving their houses, but Melody was born as a rouge, and her mother led the group before her. Moons passed, and the group began to die out as many either moved, died, or joined the real clans. Determined to keep her spin-off religion alive, she led the remainder of her cats into Valleyclan. The blue on her face is paint that showed her ranking.
