This is a sequel to Egypt's Tide and it mostly reflects on the past. Nava, Kafele, Jahri, Istalri, Jinx, Starling and anyone else who wants to know about the characters or the Red Pyramid Series. (THIS WILL MOSTLY BE ABOUT THE PAST OF THE CHARACTERS I JUST NAMED OFF OR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO JOIN.)

Elementalist: Learn to control the five basic elements, earth, fire, wind, water and cheese! A good elementalist can summon the forces of nature to launch devastating attacks.


Diviner: A rare gift, diviners can tell the future. This is a dangerous path, and can lead you to a terrible fate, but if you’re a diviner, you probably already knew that.


Animal charmer: It may sound simple, but animal charming was an important skill in ancient times, and can still be a very powerful discipline. Controlling scorpions, snakes, and other poison creatures can save your friends and make your enemies squirm. If you find a cobra in your sleeping bag, you can be sure you’ve offended an animal charmer.


Necromancer (rehket, seer): Not afraid of ghosts? Perhaps necromancy is for you. Skilled magicians can summon spirits of the dead to answer questions or perform tasks, even haunt people’s dreams! The spirits of the dead were important forces in Ancient Egypt, and the necromancer can use these forces or ward them off as needed.


Healers (sunu): The House of Life got its name from its ability to cure disease with magic. Back in ancient times, medicine and magic were the same thing. Magical healers can cure all sorts of wounds and diseases. If you’ve got the healing touch, perhaps you can become a sunu. This is a very popular and respected discipline!


Charm-makers (sau): The sau are magical craftsmen who know how to make amulets, rings and other powerful charms. They aren’t always the fastest combat magicians, but they can make incredible tools to help in a fight. If you are good with your hands and like designing your own magic items, consider studying charm-making.


Combat magician: Combat magic involves the use of an avatar, which envelops the user in magical armor. You then proceed to pound and smash your opponents to smithereens. Not the subtlest form of magic, combat magicians require a great deal of stamina and strength. If you like the idea of becoming a magical juggernaut who can smash through walls and wade through armies, this discipline is for you.


Path of the gods: Forbidden! Do not try this at home! In the olden times, magicians could study the path of the gods, drawing magical power directly from one of the Egyptian gods. A combat magician, for instance, might draw on the power of Horus, god of war, to become unbeatable in combat. The ultimate goal was to become the “eye” of the god – a perfect combination of mortal will and godly power. The gods are unpredictable however, and often use mortals as their tools. This is why the path of the gods is now forbidden. Don’t listen to those Kane children, who would tell you otherwise. This is dangerous magic that could get you in lots of trouble. (You CAN be on the path of the gods you wont get hurt at all you'll be perfectly safe)

Luke walked around his parents house his black hair reaching his hips, he turned and flashed to the Nome he closed his eye's and saw two girls and a boy come to the Nome. Luke smiled everyone in his family including himself and his little sister Nava where diviner's. He adored her to no end.

((Three things.
ONE: Who is Chief Lector?
TWO: Renn and Zylie have been seperated, which I will explain at a later date. Zylie is now somewhere in Cairo, lost on the streets and pursued by demons. Amanda and Renn found eachother and are now being escorted to the Chief Lector.
THREE: Can Zylie like Luke? Jw))

Zylie turned right, skidding past a mango vendor with only inches to spare. She heard the hissing and snarling of the demons not far behind her. She took another right and ran through a small alley. She heard several people scream, RABID DOGS. Zylie shook her head. It was better that the people didn't really know what was chasing her. As she turned down a quieter street, she realized it was a dead end. Slowly, she turned around to face the demons. One had the face of a chicken/frog. The other had a screw driver head. They began walking forward. Zylie looked around. There was no escape.

Renn and Amanda were led down the Hall of Ages after being reminded not to look. The colors changed from gold, to silver, to bronze and so on. Renn had to jerk Amanda from a picture. Finally, they reached the doors of the chambers of the Chief Lector. Amanda tried not to shiver in fear. Renn could only wonder where Zylie was.

Luke phased into his fox form and padded threw the streets of Cairo, he left his father and little sister safely at the Nome to await the two teens who where to arrive. While walking around he heard someone scream rabid dogs. He raised his black muzzle and spotted a girl running from some demons. Luke followed them and when the reached an alley he stepped forward and growled deeply.

The demon with the screwdriver head, Craters of Ugliness, stepped forward and grabbed Zylie's arm. "Our master will be pleased," he said in a high-pitched voice. The chicken/frog, whom Zylie didn't know and decided to call Chog, took her other arm. "Yes, he will." His voice sounded like Zylie did when she sang too much. Zylie struggled to get free, but it was futile. She was rewarded with a slap across the face. "BE STILL!" Chog exclaimed. Zylie let out a yell of anger and spit in Chog's face. Chog and Craters of Ugliness laughed eerily. Craters of Ugliness began to say something, but was cut off by a growl. Zylie's eyes flew up, and she gasped silently as she saw a large black fox with reddish eyes. She was surprised and amazed. Though, Chog and Craters of Ugliness were angered. They hissed and made noises at the fox.
