Luna sat alone on a low stone wall, gribbing the edge and staring up at the sky. She couldn't help but think of her mother, and the thought both angered her and saddened her. Hecate was probably admiring one of her other daughters, so perfect in her cruel eyes, while Luna was nothing more than dirt, and probably even less that that. Why? What was wrong with her? Heaving a sigh, she looked around the camp. Everyone looked so happy, riding horses, talking with friends. She had no one excepting a for an old crow whom she had befriended and used her magic on so that he could talk. She had named him D'mitri, but she hadn't seen the bird in what seemed like ages. Maybe he too had abandoned her... Maybe she was destined to be unwanted and alone for the rest of her life.

Deciding it was nothing, Ava put her sword away and turned back around. She took her shoes off and stuck her feet in the water. This made her feel much better.

Shadow let out a loud caw and looked toward Luna. She was all alone.. Daniel turned and saw her. e had recognized her from his cabin. He slowly approached her, feeling weird. He hardly ever approached people he wasn't familiar with but maybe Luna was different. Shadow launched himself off of Daniel's shoulder, landing on the wall beside Luna.


Sasha went back to the room and found her battle axe. She took it out to the arena for some practice. She hefted it onto her shoulder, making her way toward the arena.
