The girl heard the remark and looked back, managing a soft smile. "Sorry, just in a bad mood I guess," she shrugged, adjusting her tie before continuing up the staircase.

Entering the commonroom, she let out a sigh of relief, sinking into one of many wing-backed armchairs in their dormitory, the sun shining down on her through the stained glass windows. Her rabbits began to binky at her arrival, hopping around on the floor without a care in the world. She began to ponder the girl who she had bumped into previously, feeling that she knew her from somewhere, but she couldn't quite place it...

"Oh wait... Isn't she that girl..?" She remembered a story from her days at Muggle school of a girl that matched Penelope's description. She had dropped out of the ranks completely, feeling that the teachers were not adequate for her capabilities. She shook her head. "Probably just another stereotypical bully... They all look the same, anyway."

David then did a sigh as he then stood up and walked around his desk after grabbing his robes as he then walked towards the classroom door. "Let's see what they have for a snack." He spoke in his Scottish accent as he then locked the classroom and started walking down the halls, saying hello to his students that greeted him with smiles.

Davina smiled, relaxing a bit as Ater spoke, "Why thank you good sir." She teased, giving him a mock curtsey before leading the way to the library. She brushed aside Ater's strange behavior from before, everyone had their bad days after all, even Hufflepuffs.

Ater walked a step behind her, he took a drep breath to calm himself down before walking up beside her. As they walked past Penelope, Ater glared at her aggressively his tall stature made him almost twice the height of the girl making him look very intimidating. And when they walked past Professor Knight he smiled politely and nodded at him.

Davina rolled her eyes as they walked by Penelope. She knew the girl on sight, but made a point of avoiding her. She smiled warmly at Professor Knight, who was one of her favorite teachers. She both respected him for his knolwge, and aspired to be like him when she grew up. They were both muggleborns, and him becoming a professor had further cemented her plan to do so someday herself.

The professor then put on a small smile when he saw Penelope. "Miss Peregrine, hopefully the charm will work tomorrow in class. Don't worry about not being able to completely do it, it's a rather tricky charm." He said, although he knew that she did not like him at all, he was still friendly with her since he just blamed her upbringing. "If you ever need extra help, you can always talk to me after class." The Hufflepuff head then nodded at the shorter student. "Good day Alter." As he then continued to walk he then grinned and tipped his hat towards Davina.

Davina has been smiling before, but now positively beamed as her favorite professor offered her a friendly smile. She doubted that he knew her, since she was fairly average in Charms, no matter how hard she tried, so there was no reason for him to notice her.
