Ater quill in hand started writing extremely quickly, the quill zooming back and forth across the page. When he the parchment was full he turned it over and covered half of the backside with text. After he finished writing he just looked at the parchment for a while, sighed and signed it.

He read it through then rolled it up adressed it to an 'Amelia Nott' he stood up and tied the parchment to his black owls leg "It's for Mom, it's urgent get it there ad quick as possible I don't want her mad" he said in a whisper to his owl and sent the owl of.

He turned around to see Davina sitting there, he jumped slightly then hesitantly asked "How much did you see of that?" His accent had now a Scottish tint to it unlike the pure British one he had before

Davina jumped, almost dropping her book, "Oh, sorry. What do you mean? See of what? You sent a letter to your mom. That's not unusual." She was very confused. Sure, she had startled him, but what did he mean, how much did she see? And what had happened to his voice? Minerva, sensing her owner's distress, poked her head out of the bag, her eyes fixed accusingly on Ater.
