J.D. found he was barely even listening to Ain anymore. He couldn't stop thinking about whether or not he actually wanted to return home. Dad would kill me if I ever did get back and he wouldn't believe a single word I'd tell him about where I'd been. He just wanted to change the topic. This was hard enough as it is. "What's your world like, anyways?" He asked, hoping to move on from the subject.

Bill had already been wandering around for quite some time. He absolutely dreaded his human form, since it greatly restricted his powers. He was a demon of the mindscape, not the physical realm. though he could still levitate and teleport... It was greatly restricted. The demon played with a stray blue flame that danced around this fingertips, he was bored.

White Kyanite was sat under a tree in an extremely small park, it looked to be the only tree in the area. To the gem, the buildings looked much of earth, though something was off about them that told her otherwise. She got up and started walking, her grey coat trailed behind her. her plain eyes darted around, trying to get a decent lay of the land... Though the buildings blocked her sight.

"That's nice of them, I suppose," He murmured softly. "Though, all the fighting must become overwhelming quickly." He smirked a bit and put his hands in his pockets to warm them up a little. "I gotta say, I wish I could do what I wanted without anyone telling me it's wrong." He snorted at his own words, his mind clearly on something that'd happened before.

"Yes.. It got very tiring very quickly... Because almost always something came up requiring our assistance. Even if it was a simple task of negotiating with another species..." Ain says. "There's also the fact that the only thing we mostly know is how to fight... We will forever, or almost always be warriors that must answer civilian calls..." he adds, it's not that he minded that but he had grown tired of that life, constant fighting and almost never having peace.

J.D. paused thoughtfully and smiled a little. "You need a break, buddy. Do something...laid-back for once." He remembered the rabbit he'd killed and his eyes lit up. "You may not need to eat but have you ever done it before?"

Ain helping cook? That was a recipe for disaster. He gives a small nod. "Though I warn you I've never cooked before..." he says with a small chuckle. He never heard of slushies. He was going to make a mental note of asking the boy what a slushy was since he was sure that all they had was an equivalent to ice cream.

"Its fine if you don't know how to cook!" J.D. smiled. "All we gotta do is put this thing over the fire and let it burn for a while. It's the best we can do in these conditions." He sighed. "Your first impression on human food might not be that great, though. I went hunting once with my dad when I was kinda young and none of it was that good."
