Mettaton DT||MTTDT AU||Crush: (open)||Talking to: Frisk, Faya
Mettaton watched Frisk's attempt closely until he felt a very slight sensation of pain, likely akin to a pinch--though, since he had never had flesh, having gone from being a ghost to being a robot, he could not be sure--and looked over to see Faya's... headstrong approach to the task at hand. He felt a slight chill as the strings of code she had ripped out dissolved, and he made a mental note to look into this later. For now, the sensations were negligible, so he proceeded as planned. He addressed Faya and said, "The Psi space was built to be manipulated, so it is especially fragile here, but now you can see why Chara can so easily tear universes apart. Your approach is... bold, and you did very well. For the next step of the exercise, I'd like you to try to isolate one tiny piece and either memorize what that piece said--you don't have to understand it; just know what symbols are present--or make note of it in some other way before dissolving it so that we can practice the next step: rebuilding code."
He then turned to Frisk. "It's okay; code manipulation doesn't come naturally to most. The fact that you could reveal it, though, is confirmation that you should be able to do this with practice, so don't give up. Try making something small, like a letter, since I know you can do that, and then taking that apart. Think about it as you make it, and then unmaking it may be easier for you. In turn, think about how it fits together as you unmake it, and that should help you to get a better sense for it."
Frisk Smith||Age 25||Female||Glitched-Looptale AU||Crush: (open)||Talking to: Blueberry Sans
Frisk did, indeed, bump into Blueberry, though she caught herself before falling backwards. She looked at the house, sizing it up. It wasn't large, and its appearance didn't quite match the pastel motif of the rest of the town, but it looked very well-suited for her. "Thanks," she said to Sans. She reached for the doorknob and opened the door, stepping in and looking around. It was small but cozy, and she wasn't exactly planning to host dinner parties or anything, so it would work just fine. She turned back to Sans at the door. "Do you want to come in with me?" she asked.
Alphys and Here We Are||Themetale AU||Alphys' crush: (open)||Talking to: Hellen
Alphys smiled. "Y-yes, thank you," she said, stepping inside.
Here gave Hellen a smile and a nod--or multiple smiles and nods, really. They floated in, each translucent and blurry form just a little behind the last while still overlapping, giving the effect of old animation. When they stopped above Alphys' shoulder, their forms consolidated into almost one, though still blurry at the edges and obviously an overlapping thing, like a shadow cast by multiple light sources all in one direction.
Alphys glanced at her Theme(s) before looking back at Hellen. "I-I was just wondering how everything's going and, um, what you're working on, if you d-don't mind me asking?" She looked incredibly nervous and shy, but a touches from her Theme's' hand(s) calmed her down. "I was just thinking... I don't have anything to do, y-yet I have the entire Hotland lab to myself here, a-and I know you're a scientist, too, so..."
"Don't hide your real intent from her," Here said, their voice echoing and multiplied, like a small chorus speaking in unison.
"You're right," Alphys admitted. She looked at Helen. "I was w-wondering if you would be willing to work with me on studying how to reverse D... Determination. I know that y-your world had similar issues with it to mine," she said, motioning at her Theme(s), "s-so I was thinking that we could work together on it! Then, if we ever do get home, this whole experience wouldn't be for nothing! We could fix our mistakes! I-if you want, that is."
Sans and Megalovania||Themetale AU||Talking to: Laika
Both Theme and Bonded looked over at the new voice. "Just... thinking about my brother," Sans replied in a low, tired voice.
"He and his Theme didn't make it out of our home timeline," Mega explained. "Spear of Justice and Undyne also weren't rescued, though I think they may have gone missing toward the beginning of the attack before everything fell apart, so I don't know what to make of that." It shook its head. "I never thought I'd miss that little upstart punk, but, darn it, I miss Spear."
Sans have a humorless huff of a laugh. "Yeah, I miss them, too, but... not as much as Papyrus."
"Of course," Mega said. "I miss him and Bonetrousle far more." It then turned its gaze back to Laika. "What about you?" it asked. "Whom have you lost?"
