I was anxious because among the scent of the emotion's hormones was the faint scent of what instinct tells me is a very dangerous creature. He carried the scent of blood with his scent, not all of it was human blood I could tell. I wondered what kind of creature he was to make me instinctively nervous, because that has to be one scary mother f*cker. I tried to hear what they were talking about, but all I could make out was talk about monsters and emotions. I was also interrupted by the sound a door opening and an experiment coming out, perhaps she could help take my mind about the monster experiment.

"How would you be able to do that?" Evan asked, touching Jade's hand with his own. He blinked as he was able to touch her, curiosity sparking in his eyes for a split second. Yes, she was odd enough for Evan to want to dissect her. Yet at the same time he couldn't even go near her. He was his untouchable experiment- no puns intended. He wanted to know so much about her, wanted to see exactly how she functioned, and yet he couldn't.

Jade's eyes widened, she shook her head slightly. "I would let you, but I don't need anymore scars." She muttered, pulling her hand away from him. She sighed softly, beginning to pace the small room. She knew exactly how many steps it took to cross this room, seven and a half. She had run a rut in the floor of her room in solitary confinement, pacing, when they had thrown her in jail many years before.
