> What got you into watching anime?
In 2009 I saw Naruto on TV, but at that time only 3 or 4 episodes were dubbed in my language and I didn't continue to watch (I didn't knew/didn't speak English at that time). I started to re-watch the hole Naruto Classic again in 2014 and continued to watch anime ever since
> How long have you been watching anime?
I have been watching for 8 years now
> What are some of your favorite anime?
Ooh...so many to mention, but: Black Clover, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (actually both FMA and FMAB), Attack on Titan (SNK), My Hero Academia (BnHA), Moriarty the Patriot, Magi series, Black butler, D.Gray Man, Tokyo Ghoul, Owari no Seraph, Bleach

I used to, now I pretty much lost time and left behind some chapters

No, but I have plans to do so. Hopefully I will be able to cosplay in the future

Depends a lot, mostly: Shonen/Shounen, Fantasy, Mistery, Military, Action, Adventure

Mostly sub, I rarely watch dubbed anime
> What are some good recommendations for those just starting out?
You can watch/here are some of my recomandations:
Naruto Classic and Naruto Shippuden, Black Clover, Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Vanitas no Carte (if you like vampires/mistery), Tensura (If you like the Isekai genre), Magi series (good as a starter in my opinion, start with 'Sinbad no Bouken')

What got you into watching anime?
i don't think i had a defining moment? i used to wake up around 4-5am with my parents because my mom would have to drop my dad off at work. when they turned the tv on for me, beyblade was always playing so it might have been that? i also remember being gifted pokemon cassette tapes that i watched maybe twice.

How long have you been watching anime?
about 11 years!

What are some of your favorite anime?
inuyasha, kiki's delivery service, angel beats, chuunibyou, air, magi, orange, and the promised neverland.

Do you also read Manga?
sometimes. i want to read more and am looking for ones to try. so far i've only read some of sailor moon and completed the promised neverland.

Have you ever done any sort of cosplay?
nope! i seriously admire people who do though and follow some cosplayers.

What’s your favorite genre of anime?
hmm, i want to say fantasy! i can get behind slice of life too, but only if there's a fun twist.

Do you watch dubbed, subbed, or neither?
i usually watched subbed but if i want to multitask, i'll opt for dubbed.

What are some good recommendations for those just starting out?
the best way to get roped in is to watch an anime that will rile you up! whether you're crying, getting angry at a character, or find yourself talking to them through the screen. i think clannad, the promised neverland, code geass, angel beats, and elfen lied are great ones to try.

Oof, thats a hard one, but some of my current faves are Danganronpa, Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun, A3!, Seven Deadly Sins, Genshin Impact (if it counts idk) Obey Me! (anime), Haikyuu! and a LOT others

Yeah, I currently have about five Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun books, two MHA books, and one Demon Slayer book right now and am gonna try to get a Haikyuu! one

Yeah, I've done Mitsuba from TBHK, Venti, Jeremy/Bonnie from FNaF, and a few others <:)

One of my friends was really into Naruto, and although I've never seen it, their enthusiasm is what got me into it.

i remember first being exposed to it thru magical girl type shows, sailor moon and pretty cure being the big main 2

7 years i think, but i only started to really get back into it like 3ish years ago

I don’t know. I’m relatively young so anime is basically what I grew up on.

MHA, JJK, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Haikyuu, One Piece, Fate ( the entire series... im into history sort of ), HxH, Inuyasha, maybe Jojo? I’m not into it that much anymore though. I also used to love Madoka Magika but the lore is really hard for my brain to process. Anyway, that’s pretty much it!

Sometimes. I’m not good with reading and keeping my attention on something for long, that’s why I prefer watching anime, even if technically reading is faster.

Nah. But I like taking funny pictures in anime poses and make my mom guess them

Shounens, course

> Do you watch dubbed, subbed, or neither?
Subbed. It depends in what language, but generally my choices are either English or French. Some animes just have harder idioms or expressions ( HxH & JJK ), so I stick to English. It’s not a skill issue I swear 😭 And the relaxing ones like, I dunno, Ouran or Urusei Yatsura, I’m def watching in French.

Oh, I suppose I gotta explain. I’m trying to advance my French, that’s why I watch stuff in French. Slowly but surely.

Yk what? I’ve always treated anime just like normal TV shows you see. I can’t watch any TV shows with real people for the most part because I can’t memorise their faces or their voices, that’s just how I am. I self-diagnosed myself with prosopagnosia because of that and a bunch of other reasons. But anyway, my advice is to treat it like normal TV shows if that makes sense. If your favourite genre is romance and the first thing you watch is like, Berserk, no wonder that you’re gonna dislike anime XD I swear we got a bunch of genres, just stick to what you actually like and you’ll enjoy it.

My first anime was Satsuriku no Tenshi by the way! XD I think I was like 7 or 8 when I watched that. Now that I think of it this type of anime is not suited for children at all,, 😭 Oh well. You could pay me and I still wouldn’t rewatch that anime again because it’s just not my typeeee

Well.. one day it was on TV, at 11 pm so it was very late at night and I had school.. idk it seemed really interesting back then,talked about it in school with my friends that I had, they also knew about it so we decided to learn about this type of 'cartoon' [i'm not trying to offend anyone if it offends someone!]

Shoot.. I think it's been a looot of years.. 19?.. a loooong time.. :c I stopped counting :c

Bleach,Mushishi,Burn The Witch, Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, I have a lot of them, but these four are most important ones to me.

Yes! I collect a looot of manga

Yes, but I lost my friends and my love for it. Never felt okay in my cosplays seeing better ones :c and I don't have people to enjoy it with, that's the most important part!

Action [seinen], shounen and slice of life, I also like shojo manga,but I love action ones a lot.

Subbed, dubbed if I have to

> What are some good recommendations for those just starting out?
It's really hard to say, people have different tastes, but I've heard that Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun is a good starting point for people right now, but more and more people actually love to watch or read older ones now! I'm really happy about this since I love old animes and mangas much more than most of the newer ones

My first anime was Fushigi Yuugi and Great Teacher Onizuka [both were on TV at the same time basically] I'm not recommending these animes though, I love them, but they're not great for being the first ones!
My first manga was Ranma 1/2 and .hack//Legend of the Twilight, I would recommend these two,but there are better ones out there now to start your interest!
