Yeah, that is very true. In my opinion, the best character that was introduced in that case was Jake Marshall. I didn't like Lana that much in the beginning because of her attitude, but I eventually liked her in the end. However, yeah, there were a million things you had to do before you go into trial, so many places you had to go investigate - it was almost like an actual goose chase.

considering i got stuck on bridge to turnabout because i forgot to talk to gumshoe... it wasn't the most fun case for me and my lack of "gotta check every single thing"

I actually kind of liked RFtA. I definitely agree with it being too drawn out and really slow in some places, though. The reason for that was because it was an add-on in Japan and not part of the actual game. They wanted to make it long for the Japanese audience since they would have to be buying another game, essentially.

I don't like how they kind of whitewashed some of Edgeworth's actions, though. I wish the fact that he definitely convicted innocent people of possibly the death penalty was brought up in the series some more. Not even fanfictions address it.

Yeah, in other games, like Investigations, some characters are saying "Oh, you were the disciple of von Karma" or something of the sort.

However, I feel like Rise from the Ashes should have been put before the DL6 case thing, but that is only my opinion.

And even in the Investigations games, it's rarely brought up. I thought it was interesting with Shields when he actually had something against Edgeworth because of it, but he's really the only one who did, and he got over it pretty quickly.

If that was the case, we wouldn't have that sub-plot with Edgeworth and that was one of the best parts in 1-5. We'd still have it, but we wouldn't be nearly as involved in it.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. The only thing mentioned about Edgeworth by other characters is that he was a disciple of Manfred von Karma. When Shields had something against Edgeworth, he always brings up his father in the situation, which made things more interesting.

OH, and did you see that new art for the special edition thing where Japanese fans can buy all of the mainline games in a single package? It has 75 or so characters all in one picture. It hasn't been colored yet but it's still pretty neat to look at.
