I'm really into this band called The Front Bottoms right now. they're super mellow but still a bop. My favorite is Backflip. But West Virginia, Lipstick Covered Magnet, and Don't Fill Up On Chips are also really good. The best album is definitely Talon of the Hawk, though

if youre into alternative and "edgy" bands, then i reccomend
modest mouse (their album good news for people who love
bad news is probably my fave album)

the 1975 is also a good band! some key songs you might like

a not-well-known band by the name greek fire is amazing if
you enjoy energetic rock with well thought out lyrics. my
personal favorite songs are

and under the stars (deus ex machina)

also lorde's latest album melodrama is fantastic it shoulve
won a grammy but oh well

and if you want a real ~*~nostalgic~*~ sound, then OneRepublic
is a band to try out.

and one of my absolute favorite artists poppy has weird and
techno sounding music all about technology and sh*t like
