Really super big fan of your deer lineart! c: Hardly anyone has one. . .

I can't really see the finer details of the markings on the shoulder, do you have a better reference?
As far as I can tell the design on the top of the image is the marking on the shoulder, but I'm not sure how it is laid out on the deer.

[ x ] This will probably be the only image that may make the markings clearer, but you are right about that. Harlequin was able to come up with something when I was formulating this character & I wasn't too stressed about it so. . . most of the other artists I've ordered art from don't seem to worry much about getting the celtic knot pattern right. [ x ] You would not actually be able to see much of those markings away way, so it's up to you how detailed you'd like to make it.

Do you have a digital reference? If not, can you tell me if any of the markings are gradient or solid? It's hard to tell with that reference.
