Avi - referring to the avatar
Anthro: Animals that usually think talk and walk like humans.
Admin: Site Administrator (Tess and Nick)
Auto / Auto-buy: The value/price put on a pet in auction that is what the auctioneer would immediately accept as payment, without having to bid.
Art trade-A trade where instead of giving pets for art from someone, you give art for that art.

BA - Black Advent
BMD - Bernese Mountain Dog
BUMP - 'Bring Up My Post'
BW-Butterfly Wolf
Banner pup-Pup you get in banners you normally find during holidays(Halloween, Christmas, etc)
BWolf-Butterfly wolf
Bombing-Randomly gifting people
BE=Black Eyed Galaxy
Banned: What happens to naughty boys and girls. You can no longer access your acct for a period of time/forever. Permanently banned (Perma-Ban) users pets will be donated to the pound to get new homes.
Booster: An additional / some additional pets which are not auto's and usually not on the wishlist, but would considerably help your bid within an auction / make it more appealing to the auctioneer.

Fruit-A line of CS UR pets. Currently including apple, grapes, banana, and cucumber.
Furry: A human with animal parts or features (e.i. tail and ears) or a animal anthro that dresses like a human. (I'm not 100% positive on this definition)
Feathersona- a feathery animal that represents you

Gifting- Giving someone pets without asking for anything back
GWJ - Growing White July
GUPPS-A grown-up pet using a PPS design.
Gift war- To trade back and forth with someone, with pets' rarities getting higher and increasing every time you trade.
GH: General Helper

Hoard-a group of certain pets. Different users have different hoards. Hoards can be kept for a reason that users chose, or for certain features(ex:bobtail, folded ears, wings, etc)

Illiterate - When you roleplay mostly one-liners(one line of text) or something with very little content

Oekaki-Art drawn on a computer/tablet with the Oekaki tool on the forums

PPS - Peter Pan Syndrome, meaning that that pup will never grow from the baby/puppy stage
Paperclip - Starting off with a common pet and trading it for a more uncommon one, then trading that one for a more uncommon one, ext. until you have a pet you like

SS : Screenshot. Pressing PrtScrn key on the keyboard, or using a screen capture function within an art program, to create a copy of what is on your screen. Usually used for report purposes (where reporting may need them).

True Date: A pet adopted in the original month of its release, and not a december re-release.

UFA- Up for auction-Can also mean Up For Adoption
UFT- Up for trade
UR - Unreleased -pets that weren't literally released like in a monthly thing they normally come out in the advent calendar

Wishie-A term used to refer to a pet that you wish for.

Numbers and Symbols
0
08-Pets from 2008. They are the oldest pets on CS and are therefore the most valuable
09-Pets from 2009. They are the second oldest pets on CS and though valuable, are not worth as much as 08 pets
1
10-Pets from 2010. They are not worth 09's and much less worth 08's
11-Pets from 2011. They aren't worth 10's, 09's, and not nearly worth 08's
2
2nd gen-When CS pets are bred, their offspring are 2nd gen(2nd generation) It is an option of pets for you to adopt on the "Adopt" page
3
3rd gen-When a 2nd Generation pet is bred with another pet, the offspring are the 3rd gen(3rd generation)
