Definitely unfair to the side of the dog. A 2015 VUC is worth at least 2 2015 UCs if you're trading down, and a few more recent UCs. Those two pets would only equal a recent common

No, if you were going by the 2:1 rule, they would at least need to bring in more commons to equal your uncommon. 2:1 to each next rarity chain, not to mention the year difference.

The fairy foxes have pretty high demand at the moment, but I think it is underpay for the Bwolf as the rares on your side probably equal about 2-3 2014 rares or like 1 2010 rare (they mostly can all go slightly higher than a normal recent rare for demand, like the fennec, macaw and dragon egg), and there's the 2012 EUC and unknown pets on the other side too.
