"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

I give up.
Tried giving my entire list pet group for a BA. (White malk, santa hat advent, santa hat advent cat, pink striped september, mini husky, and a mustard advent)
Apparently even trading regularly can't get you one.
Might as well move it to the main list.

And increase demand even more by throwing it up on the main list? I don't think that's the best idea.

I wouldn't say it would increase in demand.
People are already paying insane amounts of list pets for it (because people won't exactly give it up for any other Sept. List pet)

The BA's and BMD's are already only so high on the list due to demand, from my understanding rarity wise they were always equal with their other advent litter mates. Every time they are moved higher it just validates peoples ideas regarding them being worth more and pushes them into even higher overpays. I don't really get their insane demand personally, don't get me wrong, I like them and they are two of my most wanted, but I don't like them any better than their Collie, Cookie, Hyena and Vixen litter mates. They are certainly not worth Mains list

The only three pets that are actually technically higher in value than those are the Green Front Hollydog, Sock Advent, and Angel Advent.

All three actually went Very Rare a few months before the lump of Advent dogs (Including the overvalued BMD and BA) Technical rarity wise they are equal to that whole big list that includes the Vixen, Border Collie, Grey Border, Light Grey Husky and Dark Grey Husky, etc.

Will there possibly be a re-evaluation of the value of Grinners? I have not for the past year been able to trade away any of mine for any more than a regular 08 advent.

No, because they are still being traded fairly. Just yesterday i saw a link with two midadvents. The grinners are one of those pets with the bad demand stigma, while their demand isnt really that bad at all. There are plenty of people out there willing to pay fair or close to fair, all you have to do is find them xD

I traded away mine for a Halloween Cat, but only a certain colour cx.

I find that you can't let offers come to you, and you can't offer yourself. You really just have to uh... get way in there, but at the same time, not throw out offers.

Have we considered putting the Guardians on the list?

I can hardly find them or the Store Gryphons, and the demand for them seems pretty okay, at least as much as the Basilisks.

I've had people offer 3+ '09 Rares for my Guardian.

I think if we're considering the Arabians and Basilisks we should considers the Guardians and Gryphons too.

I still see the gryphons everywhere, plus weren't a couple of the gryphons just rare for a long time? Perhaps next year but for me I wouldn't want to see them on the List this year. Maybe I'm just paranoid though xD

If so, for me they're pretty easy to find, though they do have quite a demand and many I have seen go for three or more 09 rares. I however got mine for an extended release 08 rare and it didn't take that long to trade once i decided I wanted one. from what I can remember they were always very rare, though even if they were rare that doesn't change their worth.
