I believe it was discussed a few pages back about how bad the poll idea was in the first place. There was a fear also of a lot of down voting. I personally voted for the UR holly tier just because that is around where I value the peach, but there have been a lot of trades showing a higher value.

I personally just want to move on from the peach topic as it seems like we are just going in circles and getting no where. The skelebun really needs to be discussed.

Have there been other test polls to see if it is truly flawed or not?

I just feel like that poll being ignored completely is sweeping the community under the rug and having "the top" or elite players deciding what happens again.

I brought this issue up a while back. I'll try to find the pages....edit; can't find right now but their response was that the worth should be taken from trades because it has hard evidence or something along those lines

as for the skelebun, i feel like the ur cat would be a good tier, mostly because i think it's probably rarer than the cucumber and banana (and definitely has more demand) due to it being a store pet and not being rereleased.

I still think that's too low, it's been nearly a year since the bunny turned OMGSR and a lot of users have joined and more pets been adopted, at the least it should be at the dog tag tier, if not higher.

Also, what would pet/s would be considered as 1/3 of a sorbet? :\

has it been a year already? i thought that it had been more recent... in that case i would agree with you on dogtag tier or higher.

as for the poll, trade evidence consistently showed the peach going for a non or higher, which is obviously not what the results of the poll said. and given how much of a difference there is between the ur holly option and the other, it's probable that some users were only voting for it because it was the lowest value (thus making it easier for them to trade for it later). i think what solloby said a few pages back pretty much sums it up:

Never hopefully, the Peach poll is a pretty clear indicator that polls do not work well for valuing pets imo. Pets should be placed based on their trade values, because the Rares List aims to be a list of trade values for pets. The UR Peach cannot seem to be placed because a poll was put up and people voted for it to be valued well below what it actually traded for, and now we seem to be at an impasse. I am not sure why a poll with invalid options was put up in the first place, I was not following the conversation beforehand, but I certainly hope we don't repeat the mistake with future pets. That's my 2c at any rate.

I don't know if I ever actually posted my peach trade for more evidence on what it goes for, but here it is.
Granted it was in 2016 when it was made, but still, I can't imagine the value of something that more have been released since then, has gone up that drastically that this would be invalid research into the issue.

There is also a lot of trades valuing it MUCH higher, not to mention it's rarity is being very heavily considered right now. The fact it's an OMGSR pet means it needs to be placed higher and the fact people are telling others FALSE information on multiple threads has put the peach in a bad place where it shouldn't be
Just because it got traded for so little a few times doesn't mean we should automatically assume it's worth nothing demand and rarity wise... I traded my Brown Slep. for an UR Ice cat, that doesn't make it worth a Sept list :/

And if the poll is an opinion of the people, not the "trade evidence" it still outweighs the Lion option.

Over 900 people have voted, to ignore the poll completely is to devalue the community's worth and opinion. When over 60% vote one way, and you do the opposite, your ignoring the majority, and outlining the serious problem of the List. Only a handful of people really decide what truly happens to it.

We're trying to keep to rarity more now to help when it comes to making the rarity only list, there's no point putting it so low and then just having to move it later on because the community wants it to be lower than it should. If the community had their way, pets like the shima long tail would be a main list and the zebras advents. Sometimes you have to make choices that are for the est interest for the future.

And, like I said, if someone doesn't want to trade 1 non for it, then they can find someone willing to trade one for less. Like they do with the zebras and sun jewel and july PPS.

Valuing it now to fit the rarity only list is a strange thing to do. Since by rarity only, ALL OMGSORare's will be moved. In fact, all pets will be shuffled. Are we now considering every pet added from this moment onward to factor in only rarity and ignore other factors? Even though this list, right here and now, is not set up to support that system?

And if it truly is wrong to vote the Holly Tier, I still say we should do it. If the community votes the "wrong option", then so be it. At least we chose a community. And not a fraction of it.

All OMGSR pets will be moved when the new list is made, currently from what I understand is that altering this list isn't the best option but certain pets will be moved while the new list is under construction (Skelebun, grapes, possible the UR malk as well)

smol edit** It's only been recently established that the current list doesn't work due to it considering demand, the new list being purely rarity based is the next step rather than shuffling the current list (tho we plan on moving some said pets and adding some URs)
