Rarities can take a month or two to be released, since it's a manual process, rather than automatic.
We're usually getting them monthly nowadays, but there's no set schedule for when we get them each month, so there's no telling when exactly^^

I'll type more detailed posts when I'm less sick :D
It's also worth mentioning that rarities will never be released before the pets are no longer available for adoption, and sometimes it is simply more convenient for Nick to wait a while, for example when there are event releases still up for adoption. For example, the Halloween event stretches into November, so the October monthlies don't tend to get their rarities before the Halloween pets do, which means we won't get them before the event pets are no longer available.

Since the New Year's gift is still available, there's a good chance rarities will be held back until they can be included (though that's just speculation on my end!)

The purple is a nice surprise. Definitely not expecting it. I was sure that they would all be blue based.

I forgot to check the outvonrs thread yesterday and completely missed this babe! Sad that the little won't be all blue as its my favorite color but it's so pretty!! It reminds me of a nebula or the bottle horses and rats we got a little while ago
