Would it not make more sense to do both? And if we do both, we should delete the same amount for both. So let's say we collect, in total, 10000 for both. We should delete them both and see the rarity changes. This can show which one is rarer and other stuff like that.

Thats a good point but at the same time its harder to find both once we get to a certain point

Could do both and delete at different quantities to see how one amount effects the rarity at what pace.
But I think it might be of some concern due to the focus being split up between two pets and thus collecting going slower?

I'm not saying yes or no to either side, I didn't even vote in the poll. I'm letting the thread decide what we should do.

I also saw a cat suggested in the replies. But I think because it is a more desirable species that it would be difficult to achieve.

Hmm well I assumed we were doing both as both the rat and horse were up, but it's ok^^ I can understand where you're coming from when you say that collecting two pets would be slower.

Not to mention a lot more work to delete them 1 by one lol

I didn't suggest it, SabrinaB suggested we should focus on one pet, so I'm just highlighting the idea.

It would work better to focus on 1 and see where that goes then focus on the rat after we finished the pony search

Most who are here seem to be leaning to just the pony, I'll wait a bit longer before taking down the poll and editing the front.
