Can anyone give me a brief rundown of る verbs and stuff? Thanks :)

Really brief rundown LOL

Ru verbs are verbs ending in る, but be aware that some U verbs also end in る but are conjugated differently
For example, the Ru verb: 食べる Taberu vs. the U verb: 帰る Kaeru

Ru verbs have a simple conjugation, where you drop the る and add whatever ending you need
Basically, the "stem" of る verbs is created just by dropping る
(The stem of a verb is defined as the masu form of the verb minus the masu part)
Stem: 食べ Tabe
Long, present: 食べます Tabemasu
Te form: 食べて Tabete
Short past: 食べた Tabeta

etc.
