✪Basic Info:
Lux Lions are a breed of small dragon that live in the lush valleys between mountains. Their thick mane helps keep them warm during the winters, and during the summer they use the long hair on their tails as shade. Lux Lions are generally solitary creatures, but they have been known to live in groups of three or four. Any more than that can be dangerous, as they can get very aggressive.
✪Size Chart:
Adult: Anywhere between the size of a labrador and lion.
Kit: Around the size of a rat terrier or bull terrier.
Egg: About the size of an ostrich egg.
✪Kits:
They hatch out of an egg shaped crystal that is the color of their eyes. When they first hatch they have a very pale version of their adult coat. Their eyes are pale grey that darken into their normal color as they mature. As kits they have no mane and their tale is bare, but it almost immediately begins to grow.
✪Coats:
Lux Lions usually are light and bright colored, but occassionally there will be a darker one. Their eyes are a different color than the rest of the body. That means if it has green fur or markings, it can't have green eyes. Neon colors are considered light, but they can only be used on markings. There can be no neon base coats.
I'm looking for a few artists for my new adoptable species, Lux Lions. I'll be picking about 3 or 4, maybe more. Each winner will get an official artist spot, a custom, and a few pets. You can make as many as you want, just try to make them look different. No sparkle-lions please. Their mane is a different color than their base coat. You may be able to keep one of your entries if you win.
Rules:
-No copying someone elses entry.
-You can add items, but only a few.
-You can make your own lines, but only if you're experienced.
-Feel free to reshade it. My shading sucks, heh.
-Don't base them off of characters from shows or movies.
-No whining or complaining if you don't win.
-You are encouraged to base them off of real cat species c: but made up designs are very nice too.
