Summoning Ritual:
It is best to go somewhere secluded for this to work, the strange manual read. Preferably a forest. Take this star, and do what is told. After figuring out what the fancy letters were saying, I head to the closest place I can think of where nobody is around, in the greenery surrounding the hiking trails. Bringing the scroll with the directions for reference, the three-point star still in place along with it, a can of vibrant red-orange paint, and five candles.
The scroll I found was picked off a bunch at the old park that nobody visited anymore. It was too old for play, and at that, too forgotten. But there was still equipment, and whoever wrote the scroll likely was trying to be anonymous. They did write directions on how to actually summon this creature, so I figured that was why.
At the trail, I head off the path and do my best to step over the bushes and around the trees and avoid bugs or anything else that was nearby, even squirrels. I find a perfect place. It was strange, but I was lucky to have found a small spot that didn’t have any bushes or trees too far in the way, and the ground was mostly dirt. I pick up a stick off the ground and draw a circle, and then another circle inside, followed by another, all the way until there were 5 circles total, the same figure sketched in the mid-left side of the scroll. I throw the stick aside and put the closed paint can in the middle, with the star on top. I slowly back off, trying not to mess up the circle. Then I grabbed the three things I would put for each point of the star. The first was a marigold flower. The second I placed down was a bronze coin that dated back to 81 years ago. Finally, I placed a multicolored twine bracelet.
After glancing back at the scroll, I remember the words and say them carefully.
“Join me,”
“See me,”
”Be with me,”
“I promise you by me,”
“We can be best friends with one another,”
“You and me.”
“See me,”
”Be with me,”
“I promise you by me,”
“We can be best friends with one another,”
“You and me.”
I wait. It took a while. I almost picked up the scroll yet again to check if I had missed something. Maybe someone was watching?
Just then, it happened.
The circles in the ground lit up, the same color as the paint in the center. The three point star also glowed, and then floated up. Along with the light being emitted, a humming noise was generated. The can opened on its own, and then something jumped out. It was the creature, Feräll. Feräll was his name, according to the scroll. His vibrant colors reminded me of celebration. Or a painting of the rainbow. Then the glowing faded away as suddenly as it started, and the star dropped into the paint can. The paint can was empty. But now I wasn’t the only one around the trails. The summon worked, and Feräll looked at me almost as if congratulating me for completing the ritual. I covered the circle, grabbed the can and scroll, and began walking, Feräll following me from behind. His flames were bright, and I could still see the light that came from them even if he was behind me.
Adopting more later, it takes me a while to pick out non-duplicates to give.
had to delete the original one because I forgot a ritual requirement sorry!
