LUX LACERTI, more commonly referred to as simply "LUX", are lab created hybrids. In response of the growing number of casualties, both human and animal, on the battlefield resulting from landmines, scientists at the N.C.S. (Noble Center of Sciences) decided that there had to be a way to solve this... and thus Lux were created.

LUX may only be the size of your typical medium dog - however Lux are much, much more than that. They are created from the joining and splicing DNA from wild northern wolves, komodo dragons, alligators and jellyfish. An odd mix? maybe. But Lux inherited very, very important aspects from each of those species that are critical to what they were designed for.

komodo dragons - a venomous saliva and reptilian features
alligators - tough scales and armour-like shielding on their chests and stomachs
jellyfish - bioluminescence

Sage enjoys jamming out to rock and metal while taking care of her plants. She keeps a fair sized indoor garden inside of her cave-like abode. Think "hobbit hole" relatively, but with a green house visible from the outside. She hangs herbs and other plants used for cooking in her kitchen along with some drying meats. Cooking is one of her favorite things to do, as well as taking care of her plants and pets. She has a few small rodents that roam the house and seem to follow her every command. Just three little rats whom she takes marvelous care of.

A typical sunday afternoon for Sage means tending her gardens while listening to her music and then going for a walk. When she returns her rats great her and she gives each of them a little piece of food which they all run to store in the hovels Sage has built for them. After that she makes her way to the kitchen and begins boiling some water in a kettle for afternoon tea. She makes herself a completely homemade sandwich and devours it. And then she goes for another walk, this time she stays out and sits by a serene pond, listening to the sounds arround her. She manages to catch a few fish for dinner (with her claws) and then heads home for supper. Feeding her rats once again upon entry before making her way to the kitchen to cook up today's catches. After dinner she goes to sleep in the cozy nest she has built for herself in a cradle of large tree roots. The "best consists of blankets and pillows and she snuggles down for the night.
