His vision was always messed up or something, and he couldn't see the dots and connect them into a shape. He always could spot Sirius, however, and stared at it and wished his deepest wishes upon it. It's a part of Canis Major, and is the brightest star ever next to the sun.

To tell the truth, Dev isn't really into all this star stuff. He isn't the type to wish upon some far-off ball of light, to trace lines that don't make sense to anyone but the tracer. He is the type to try and charm every single person he meets, though, and how do you charm an astronomy nerd? Tell them they're the brightest star in the sky, of course. Which led to a whole conversation about Sirius and Canis Major and other stuff Devon didn't understand at all. But thanks to that one person, Dev can identify the constellation every time he looks at the sky.

He'll tell every new date that the constellation's his favorite because Sirius reminds him of their eyes - a line guaranteed to hook anyone, astronomy nerd or not.

Favorite constellation: The dolphin constellation, Delphinus! It's a really small group of stars in the northern hemisphere. Qwen loves these 5 stars because they're so small, yet so beautiful! They kind of remind her of herself, (not to be vain or anything) because she feels like she's a pretty small Kalon in the big world. she also kind of loves Dolphins, so that's a big factor too.

Favorite constellation: Assuming that he favorite constellation is Andromedia will make her mad. And you do not want to see her mad, trust me. In reality, her favorite constellation is the only one she can always find in the sky. She can't find the Big Dipper or the Little Dipper, nor the bears or the dogs. Not even any of the zodiac constellations. Andromedia's favorite constellation is Orion. She remembers when she was very little, her father took her outside one morning and pointed out the three stars that made the belt of Orion. Then he showed her the shoulders and legs. Not only does she love the myth about Orion in greek mythology (which she is studying to become a history teacher, and greek myths are her favorite, btw), but the constellation reminds her of that morning spent with her father. It is very special to her, and seeing the constellation is always a big boost to her day.

As a child, Proxima was read one stanza from the poem, and has remembered it to this day. When he heard about their being a constellation, he went to go see it for himself. and it has been his favorite ever since
