A little bit about me: Well, I'm a young girl in the U.S who loves to read. I think the number 42 is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. So far, I currently own zero plumerians, but am trying out for one more besides this.

Explanation: Originally, I didn't think I would try out for this plumerian. Sure, she was beautiful and absolutely perfect, but it was an art contest. I knew there would be people who could actually shade and color and get down every little detail, unlike my feeble sketches, and I didn't think I had a chance. However, as I was sitting outside, lamenting on all life's woes, I thought of her and a thousand ideas for scenes that I could draw with her came into my mind. I knew that I wanted her personality to be up-beat and positive, but which would I do?
I decided on this scene because I think it represents her the most. She's staring at an ordinary, common bird in wonder and delight. The rainbow background is supposed to show her mood.
