A Plate Dragon is a subspecies of dragon! They have "Plates" on the side of their cheeks and on their butts! They also have scales around their bodies such as on their faces, legs, and tail! Another unique feature are the "spikes" on the end of their tails and horns that can range in many different shapes and sizes that are used for protection and battle. They usually live in jungles or forests but can be found anywhere. They are extremely venomous, and can projectile their venom when in danger! They use this tactic when feeling threatened or scared so as long as you have good intentions they wont hurt you! They are feisty but you'll be lucky to have one as your friend if it gives you its trust!

In the coldest mountain, far up north, a plate dragon rests in a cabin. Inside are two other plate dragons, who are family in the other plate dragons eyes. Flowers sprout in patches outside, ice encasing the stems like a protective blanket, keeping the flora alive somehow despite the cold.

An only child, the plate dragon grew up loved and cherished, but not spoiled. It always polished its scales to perfection, and took great care of its broken plates and sharp claws. It was not afraid to get dirty outside, but it had a proper routine for such occasions once it went back inside. It was a warm and gentle plate dragon, eyes always gleaming with happiness and energy.

It had never strayed far from home, careful not to stumble across other critters that could scare it or hurt it. All it needed was the growing flowers and vast amount of trees surrounding the cozy cabin, and the small spring nearby. It never knew danger or hardship, but it knew how fortunate it was regardless. Life was always good for this plate dragon.

Plants grew wherever it went, and it could even force seeds to sprout from the earth beneath its feet. They knew not what this power was called, or if other plate dragons could do this, but it didn't mind much either way. It was a power it cherished dearly.

though there were only 3 entries, all of them were great 😭 but i'm gonna have to give it to iron man! the way you incorporated this PD into like.. the creation?? of the world?? it's so fun
