Carter grew up living two different lives. When she was
two, her parents split up. Her mother moved to Manhattan
and began her career as a very successful lawyer. Carter's
father stayed in [name of place] and managed a booming
restaurant in the area. She has been going back and forth
between her parents for years, but tends to hang around
her father. Carter is a daddy's girl, and will openly admit
she likes her father more than her mother. Mr. William's love
for music has rubbed off on his daughter.

Austin's mom left days after he was born, which started his
father's taking to alcohol. When the boy was eight he was
diagnosed with leukemia. The treatments ran his father dry
of whatever little money he had, which pushed him into
having a gambling problem. The stress from betting got
him into a full-on drinking problem. Young Austin was forced
to watch his father's downfall. At first, he wanted to help.
But by the time he was thirteen, the boy was tired of being
ignored and ranked after the drinks. He began to do terrible
things to get his father's attention, but it never worked. Even
after his dad died of alcohol poisoning when Austin was sixteen,
he didn't stop doing the bad things. It became one of the only
stable things to him. During his father's days as an alcoholic, he
slept with another girl & ended up with an unwanted daughter.
Austin, fifteen then, took care of his younger sister, Ally.

Arielle, also known as Ari, had a typical experience as a
child. As she entered middle school, she began getting bullied.
She was called overweight, ugly, and every petty thing in the
book. At the time, she was overweight for her age, and was
aware and ashamed of it. The bullying and her own knowledge
led to anorexia until her freshman year of high school, thanks
to her supportive parents and therapist. She is still considered
to not have her mind in a good place, so she still has to attend
therapy two times a week. The girl's mind often goes to dark
places and she feels as if she is alone, causing her to be an
introvert and come across as cold and harsh, because she does
not want to burden others with her problems or have them hurt
her. She seems to only find passion in creative writing, where
she can write down all the dark thoughts and turn them into
something fictional.

Kassi grew up in a household of free spirits that some may
label as "hippies". Her parents let their kids do whatever,
with two rules: don't get killed & be home by 3 AM. It was
a relaxed lifestyle, and it was the kind that helped Kassi
flourish. She was encouraged to pursue her passions of
singing and acting to the point where she became quite
skilled. Later on, she found an interest in dancing, and
was soon signed up for lessons, where she grew to be
a talented dancer, completing the final piece to becoming
a "triple threat". She is more focused on spending time
with her friends her family then her dancing, however.
She is happy, but due to school constantly telling her
she must figure out her life right now, the girl is feeling
constant pressure because she has no idea what she wants
to do for the rest of her life.

Luke is the absolute epitome of an all-american boy. He
is the star player on his football and baseball team, is
widely-loved and constant surrounded by friends, and
can dominate at an eating contest [then works out, of
course]. He has warm eyes and a kind smile that have
been said to make people's hearts melt. He is the great
storybook teenage boy, thanks to his parents. They are
pro-american and raised Lucas [Luke] to be the exact
same way. They took him to superbowl parties, taught
him how to ride a bike and play catch, and every typical
thing a parent was to teach their child. His father taught
him how to throw a football and hit a baseball and
pressured his talented son to join teams. Luke does
find the sports fun, but he certainly does not like being
forced to play them. His father forces him to do many
things, like running events he was unable to be apart of,
starting unneeded petitions for nonexistent social issues,
even befriending or dating a specific person. Sadly, Luke
will do anything his father says. Although he does not like
it, he is the typical American boy that wants to make his
father proud. Somehow, though, Luke is still a good,
warmhearted boy. He did not acquire those traits from
his choiceless actions or controlling parents.

Aspen was born on a rainy September day, a day just
like any other ordinary one in England. She was a
mistake, both of her parents only being sixteen when
she was born. Nevertheless, the two teens were forced
to be parents. It was obvious, even to the young girl that
she wasn't quite wanted around. As a child, Aspen craved
affection from nearly anybody, and would work hard for
it, but honestly lacked social skills. So, the older she got,
the quieter and colder she got. Eventually, she gave up
altogether on trying to gain affection. And when she was
thirteen, she killed her father. Well, not exactly. They
got in a fight, and she told him that she wished he would
die. Her father stormed out, took the car, and got in a fatal
car crash. Her mother completely stopped talking to Aspen,
and they became two strangers living in the same house Aspen
completely shut out everyone at this point, and blames herself
for causing all of these problems.

Shawn Carson was born on a warm February day in Los Angeles, California. From a young age, he was raised to be someone who demanded attention through the way he spoke, looked, and even walked. His father was a struggling musician while his mother was an actress who had been in a few short films and believed she was holier-than-thou because of it. Both of his parents thought Shawn should grow up to be a prodigy in some form of performing arts, so they constantly forced him to attend classes for acting, singing, guitar, and dancing. He learned the basics & could perform well to a point..

When he was ten years of age, his mother walked out on Shawn & Adam. Shawn later learned that his father had been cheating on his mother for some time, finally being confirmed when he made his mistress his wife. They moved out of LA and wasted no time in giving Shawn a half-brother named Luke. In his new town, Shawn fond an interest in baseball and football, which he ended up being highly talented in.

His parent's bigger-than-life personalities encouraged Shawn to have a magnetic personality, able to easily make conversation, goof around, and make others feel good. He was not book-smart in high school, though, so he was unable to attend college. Instead, he works two jobs to afford an apartment for himself. More recently, he and his father's mistress- sorry, wife- have been getting into arguments so Shawn does not speak to his family very much. Shawn doesn't date many girls because he does not want to break hearts. The story with his parents has caused him to no longer believe in love.

Leo Chase Sinclair is his name, and you must certainly not leave out his middle name when properly addressing him. Unless you know him well enough to the point where he would reference you as his friend, he is to be known as Mr. Sinclair. He was born to a highly privileged family in upper east Manhattan, where he was born and raised for many years, living in the nicest penthouse available. He grew up attending galas, was taught by a private tutor while attending private school so that he one-up every other student, and was taught everything from polo to how to have tea with the Queen of England [which his parents did]. However, during his senior year of high school, his father's business took a huge blow and they lost some money and gained bad press, so his parents fled the state. Since then, he had been attending school in this area. A new, booming family business is running now.

He is the most classeless classy man known to earth. Leo will play dirty to get whatever he wants, whether it be money, girls, or fame. He is extremely pretentious and believes he deserves the world. This aura of sophistication, though, does not cause him to be a snob. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Mr. Sinclair is the kind of person who can make conversation no matter the person or topic. Many people are drawn to his personality or looks, which only enlarges his circle of friends & lovers. Leo Chase is an open book-- or so he'd like you to think. He causes people to believe that he is very open about his life, when in fact, he tricks them all. Only a select few truly know the way Leo thinks and acts. He is sophisticated, but is also a huge party boy. He won't touch a glass of wine, but will down booze & beer as he also supplies it to friends, some even underage. He can get his hands on anything you want or need, and will do it, for a price. Whether he wants money, lovers, or secrets, depends on what you ask and what mood he's in.

Let's try to keep this last portion short and sweet, alright? While Leo is cocky, underhanded, and acts as if he is holier-than-thou, he understands how the world works and how to get by. He is loyal to those who prove to be friends with him past the point of money and drinks, and will ensure that they are having a good time with a good friend when around him. He is rather witty and relaxed when around those whom he is close with, and gets along best with those outside his circle of "elites". Although he is considered privileged and proper, he hates those who are from that circle. He prefers to be around those who can actually let loose and have a good time, so long as they can keep secrets. He also is an entrepreneur, working hard to create his own business.
