Bubbly and friendly, Amalia is usually
found laughing among a group of
people. She's rarely seen by herself,
yet she feels lonely. She doesn't
have many people who are close
to her. There are basically no
people she can talk to when she's
upset, nor is there anyone to
laugh or cry over work or fanfiction
with—her guilty pleasure that most
people dislike. Her fake friends try
to set her up with strangers; saying

As soon as she entered elementary school, Ali's parents had drilled into her
head that she needed to work hard and get good grades. And so, that's what
she did and continues to do. She constantly pushes herself to do better, to
get one more question right on tests. A hardworking, studious, child. That's
who her parents turned her into. Because of her high marks, many classmates
are jealous of her and many ignore her. Alicia does not mind though. Not
when she has a few close friends who are always there for her. And yes, there
are bullies and those who tease her and try to take advantage of her, but
she knows how to ignore them and to bounce back stronger than ever from
their insults. She has learned that, too.

Beyond studying and getting full marks on her grades, her parents enrolled her
in extracurricular activities. Dance, singing, and photography take up much
of her time outside of school. Though she is quite busy with those activities,
Alicia makes time for her friends and puts them ahead of the things her
parents make her do, especially if they are in trouble. Her parents get angry
at her when she does that but Ali will not desert her friends.

Known for her cheerful and compassionate disposition, Akira is one who
helps those in need. It's rare for her to turn someone away when she has
the ability to help them. Of course, just because she helps anyone she can
means that she's naive. If anything, she knows just how cruel the world
can be. When she was seven, Akira's mother passed away after catching
pneumonia. Akira and her father were devastated, her father throwing
himself into work and pushing Akira to do better in her studies and
household chores. As Akira grew older, her father grew more distant. He
said that she reminded him too much of her mother, and it was painful
to look at her. It hurt, but there was nothing Akira could do. She started
to spend more time out of the house where she saw the imbalance
between the rich and the poor. Though her family is not very wealthy,
she applied and got the job of a chef in a restaurant. If the restaurant
had leftover food, Akira got permission from the owner to take it and
give it to some of the families who were not doing so well. Her father
heard about her job and was not very happy so he started to look for
someone to marry Akira off to—saying that it would be disgraceful to
the family if a woman her age could not find a husband. He has not yet
found someone for her, and Akira is glad that he hasn't.
