Welcome to Tough as Nails Adoption! Why is it called that? Because we are picky about what designs we take and who we adopt out to!
WE WILL NOT TAKE
- Random colored lineart or flash made animals with little to no thought or coherence
- Eye-blinding neon colors
- Random ugly sparkledogs
- Poorly colored lineart
- Designs made for the sake of just making something
- Enormous scene hair. I don't care what it's on, it looks UGLY.
CONDITIONS THAT ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE
You cannot have these as special conditions.
- PMing you to change anything about the character
- PMing you the forms so you can approve of them. The creator of the character, unless there is a very special case, is not allowed to judge who gets it.
- Demanding (You have to have this character drawn) or hinting (I would like you to get art...) that they have art drawn of the character
- Claiming you will "take back" the character if not used
Basically, if your designs are well thought out, we'll accept you!

HOW THIS WORKS
1. Designs are kept up for ONE WEEK.
2. At the end of one week, the best application for it wins!
3. If at the end of one week the design has no applications, the owner can choose to take it back, keep it here, or delete it.
So this is not first come first served. It's based on creativity.

RULES AND POLICIES
1. Use the forms!
2. Don't whine if we don't accept your design.
3. Don't whine if you lose an adoption. Better luck next time.
4. FIVE ADOPTIONS MAX. Don't hoard characters you won't use! This may be upped in the future.
5. YOU CANNOT USE ANYTHING YOU ADOPT HERE AS A FURSONA OR THE MATE OF YOUR FURSONA.
6. No Mini-modding. If you're not Atwood, Wendigo, or Spotty, please don't minimod.
7. Please do not PM us and ask if a donation would be accepted. We can't make promises.
Anything you adopt from The Agency HAS to be returned to The Agency. We will not take donations you previously adopted from The Agency as it is a violation of their rules.
WE WILL NOT TOLERATE THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIORS...
- Begging for characters
- Harassing people who win the character you want
- Asking someone to drop out of applying for a character
- Asking for an adopted character from the adopter after they won fairly
- Spamming
FORM RULES
- YOU have to write the form, you can't ask someone else to do it for you. Asking for critique and proofreading is fine.
- Collaborating on forms/art is not allowed.
- Only art that YOU drew is allowed for the art slot. Colored in lineart is not acceptable.
- Using art that is not yours for the art slot is THEFT and will be met with a ban.
- Plagiarism of any kind, including art and text, is FORBIDDEN and you will be banned. We take theft very seriously.
- CITE YOUR REFERENCES FOR ART. Keep in mind there's a fine line between tracing and referencing. To learn more, read this thread by Kamaliah.
- When donating, link to the original page the lineart came from. The original artist's rules of use are what is needed, and just showing the image of the blank lineart is insufficient to meet CS requirements.
- If you as a donator want people to contact you or return a character to you, put your name and profile link on the donation form, as otherwise the adopter won't know who the original donator was.
If you have any problems, anything at all having to do with the thread (concerns about theft, questions, suggestions, complaints, or problems adopting or donating) PM me, Wendigo, or Atwood and we'll do our best to help you.
Atwood and Wendigo reserve the right to deny service to anyone for any reason.
WORKERS
Atwood: Atwood sorts through the donations and gives a yay or nay as well as reviewing descriptions and deciding who gets what.
Spotty: Spotty polices the thread. Rulebreakers beware!
