Serviels are a tame species and associated with humans. They have great hearing and can hear up to 4 miles away and smell up to 1 mile away and more if the wind blows. They have small paws so they are light on their feet when hunting. Serveils eat meat and at times some plants, Serveils are friendly and communicate with little chatting noises, for an example, how when a cat see’s a bird, they make a chirping sound. Thats what they sound like. The meaning of scarves that go around their neck and their tails is to show they love to be dressed up. They come in all different sizes and colors, they live in a warm climate and never venture towrds the coldness. The Serveils stay in groups and will wonder off at any time, they have a short attention span lets say.

We are currently in need of artists who are willing to color in some idiots cause who doesn't want to??
We are accepting everyone, as long as they make idiots. We don't require high skills for the job – idiots don't have to be super complicated.

But you still must keep these in mind:

@ you may edit the lines, but keep the face visible and recognizable. hair is allowed.

# you can make new faces, but you are permitted to use that face only once. you may make ten custom faces in your lifetime – sorry kids. and keep in mind that idiots are idiots; please don't make a smart or realistic face.

$ there are no guest artists. make two or three fake idiots, and if i think you're worthy, then you're officially an artist! however,if you go inactive for some while I'll have to take your spot away. sorry!

I have decided to give you guys the opportunity to apply to be artist for my species, the Su Hound. I shall be looking for 2-3 artists, although I may pick more dependant on the applications. How To Apply
To apply, all you need to do is colour in 2-3 Hound to the best of your ability. Be creative! But of course, please abide by the species colours and markings, and do not make any line edits. You may enter a total of 4 times. There is no requirement of gender, but should you win, you can choose one of your entries to keep as your very own Hound. For each entry you colour, please post the form below with it.

Colouring Tips
When colouring, the please remove all of the labelled "REMOVE" layers. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SHADING LAYERS. DO NOT remove my signature.

Coat Colours and Markings
Generally Su Hounds are dark in colour, with different shades of the base colour over the top patterning the body. There are then small areas of bright, vibrant colours (note, NOT neon). The most common base colour for a Hound is either black or different shades of grey, but Hounds can have any non-neon colour as their base, eg burgundy, brown, dark teal etc. The spinal hair is generally lighter than the body colour, and has a higher percentage of the vibrant colour(s). The skull MUST be a light colour, usually similar to that of the body colour. For example, if the body is dark green, the skull will be a very very light green, almost indistinguishable from white. The skull is also not patterned; just one solid colour. You may colour the teeth, AS LONG AS it works with the design- not just for the sake of it. The claws can be any colour, but again, NOT neon.
The base colour can be a light colour, but very rarely. In this case, there will be heavy dark coloured patterning.

Below are some helpful examples. (note, the last example has facial patterning ONLY because it was a custom. This is not otherwise allowed.)

In Summary
• usually dark base coats
• heavy patterning
• no more than 3-4 colours on the body and hair
• occasionally light base coats
• flecks of vibrant colour
• one solid, light colour on the skull
• no skull patterning
• NO NEON

Tips for mouse patterns:

So, how do you make realistic patterns? Have a look at a few photos of mice and you will notice their spots are never a perfect circle and are always rough around the edges. Why? Because of the fur! Always make sure you remember which way the fur goes when drawing animals, it just makes them look a whole lot neater c:

To make patterns such as spots look realistic it's a good idea to use the smudge tool on low opacity, and gently smudge the edges of the spot/marking. Don't smudge too much or it will look a bit off c;

You can also use dodge and burn on low opacity to shade, just try not to go too overboard.

Lucidux [“LOO-sid-uhcks”] are magical feline creatures that control limited amounts of magic to communicate and hunt. Roughly the size of a cougar, these animals store and expel pure energy in their body and orb on their tail to show dominance and lure/stun prey. As apex predators, lucidux claim large territories and prefer to lead solitary lives, though occasionally small ‘prides’ can form.

This is a rather relaxed artist competition.
I am hiring artists for my species; Fairytale Friesians.
I'm looking for artists who are efficient as well as detailed!
If you'd like a ghost artist over a full artist position, just ask.

What are pocket cows?
[center]Pocket Cows are genetically engineered cows about the size of a squirrel! They have been created for companionship, an animal often thought ugly and gross, now a cuddly, friendly little critter! They come in all sorts of colors, with custom bells, and some even have rare mutations, like wings! Most importantly, one of the things that makes a Pocket Cow a Pocket Cow, is its maker's mark! The designer of each cow adds a small design to the left front leg to truly make the cow unique!

Welcome to the artist's search for Pocket Cows! there's just a couple rules!
1. Please post all entries under a cover (and preferably link them too!)
2. Do not create Pocket Cows based on ocs, fursonas or any shows, ect, for your entries. We want to see your new designs!

Feather tails are a species similar to a fox, with feathers for tails and feathers behind their ears. Feather tails live in the forest of Penketh, in small groups called packs. These packs can be anywhere from 2 to 20 FT's, mostly related, but doesn't have to be. •This species only bonds in MxF pairs. In the wild, Ft's mate for life, and can only breed with their mate. Baby Ft's are called quills. They receive their Jars when they are a week of age, and the color seems to choose them. No one quite knows where these orbs come from, only that they are filled with the life force of the individual and must, therefore, be protected.
