Hello Artists of CS!

Are you looking for a quick way to nab a (late) 2021 store pet?
Well have I got the task for you!

I want you to do four things for me!

  • Draw this creature in your style!
  • Draw the nursery lines! (Included a guide-line)
  • Color it in the way I have, just plain grey inside the lines (preferably)
  • Have the wings removable!!! This one is very important!!!

The pet can be found here.

After you've made your lovely recreation...
- Add me to the drawing (once finished)
- Send me a PM stating you've finished
- Fill out the form
- Wait 'til the end of the contest, if you don't win, please dont try
to make your entry into its own closed species without major
modifications.
This will technically be taking and recreating
my species idea and passing it as your own. While yes, it is your
art, your time, etc, it was my idea to begin with.
Entries:
None so far! Be the first!

Winning Entry:
No entries yet!

This will end in 1 month from post
date, June 20th, 2024.

If I somehow forget about this, please
PM me saying it's past due to end.

This will end with a winner,
no matter what!

Anywhos, have fun with it! Add stuff!
Go wild! Just make sure it's
recognizable!(Leafy bits, beak,
feathered wings + tail, four
legged, yknow)

May the odds be ever in your favor.

ItsAsher0 wrote:Shard, what's hard about being an assassin? Let alone, a Runaway assassin? Is there any hardship you have to overcome?

Shard: "One of the hardest things, both before and after running away, is having to constantly look over my shoulder. Anyone could be after me, so I have to treat everyone like they're after me. That's why I stick with Ray, he's the only dragon I trust."

Ray: "You took some convincing on that."

Shard: "True. That's something I had to overcome. But someone healing you with magic before they even know you does wonders for your opinion of them."

LBC #440 from Adopts 2: Pets, based on this drawing by Pandora!
by Fawntura @ Mon May 20, 2024 12:53 pm [Reply]

The Lone Bashkir Curly horse is a very unique and set apart breed. They are well known for their curly coats, caused by many gene mutations, and their versatility. Lone Curly Horses are often found as chestnut, but have a wide variety of colors, some more rare than others. They range in height from 13-16 hands, but are often found between 14-15 hands. These horses are found wild in Nevada, USA. Although they are wild, they are also known for their calm and gentle nature. Lone Bashkir Curly Horses got their name due to them not staying in herds with other horses. Since they are always separated, they often wander far into owned land and cause disruptions. They have very much grown in population, causing problems and wreaking havoc, therefore creating the need for a relocation organization. The LBC Organization is running a rehoming program to protect these horses while still preserving them. If you're interested, keep an eye out for LBCs looking for a new place to call home!

Wanted to test my abilities so here are the results. This babe will be a raffle, but to enter give me your honest brutal truth of how you think they turned out!
end date: sometime on page 2 or on may 31st which ever comes first!

blind animus from Pages, based on this drawing by coolrat
by coolrat @ Mon May 20, 2024 12:32 pm [Reply]

COOLDOGOOO wrote:ray, how is it like to be a blind animus? and why don't you just make yourself unblind or something with your powers??

Ray: "It's... hard at times. I wasn't always blind, so I had to relearn a lot of things. It helps that I know the area I live well. As why I don't give myself vision again, my grandfather warned me about animus magic. I don't know if I buy the idea of losing your soul, but I do think that using my magic for myself can lead to dark places. No matter how small the spell, I vowed to never use my powers for my own benefit."

Mix of a deer/ sturgeon? some form of fish haha, went with a murky freshwater aquatic vibe. I hope you like it, I had a ton of fun really going all creative with this! My toyhou.se Cetacea can be used for credit if you keep them. :)

Im okay with generally any animal (coyote, cat, raccoon, bear etc.) I don't have any strong preferences for likes/dislikes but here's a few:

Likes:
- natural designs + colours
- simpler designs
-cowboy/western themes
-accessories

Dislikes:
- anything with overly bright colours or complex design
- extra limbs

Range Trotters are the result of crossbreeding Orlov Trotters, Finnhorses, Welsh Cobs (section C & D) and Hanoverians. Later crosses of Quarter Horses, Paint and Appaloosas to gain color and to give a boost to their hardiness. With a height average of 13-15 hands, they're a hardy breed with characteristics for various disciplines.

Created for use as work, carriage and leisure riding horses originally, they now serve as long-distance range horses, such as work with Park Rangers and mounted officers.

Willing and eager personalities, most are quickly trained to be bombproof and therefore trusted mounts in all lines of work; some are being seen in local show jumping competitions, others are notably used in therapeutic sessions for their calm temperaments. Harness races and endurance trials are common for the breed, as they are able to sustain an extended trot without tire. Cross-Country competitions see some of the taller Trotters, but due to their cob lineage this is still uncommon.

Despite the variety of competitions and work these horses are being seen in, they are still famously skilled as endurance racers. Many competitors have chosen Range Trotters due to their tireless work ethic, as well as the ease in which they can be trained. Many have become champions in endurance trials, and they have quickly become a sought after breed for their natural ability.

Squeaking this one out at the wire! My goal was to do one adopt with each new marking, and having no AC still and a surprise visit from a childhood friend almost derailed that.

Argh! Most of the pirates seem to have finally fled, minus a handful of stragglers that just don’t seem to get the message that they should leave. Since there really isn’t anyone left to deal with, you notice lots of snacks left lying around. Find me (a CS-appropriate and properly credited) image of a pirate-themed dessert, snack, or really any dish of your choosing! Does not have to be directly pirate themed, for example can be skulls or anything else that fits a pirate motif.
