This cake was made to represent the essence of CS. The base is a yellow cake made from scratch with cream cheese frosting and is covered with a yellow-green fondant to match the site. Around it are frosting leaves and flowers, again to bring out the site in the theme. The three characters are the three most iconic to Chicken Smoothie in my opinion. Squiddy, Totoro, and Tess, all made with home-made fondant, frosting, and paint made with cream cheese frosting, corn syrup, and food coloring. The cake took three days to make, with many mishaps and many parts that I had to do over again. The only inedible parts are the candle of course and the skewers, one in Tess, one in Squiddy, and two in Totoro(one for the wings and one to make him "fly"). This has been an incredible experience and I gained a lot of knowledge with decorating cakes and learned it is definitely not as easy as it appears. I hope you enjoy the cake!
