My cake is titled "Three Tiers of Chicken Smoothie". A yellow cake base is covered with vanilla frosting and a layer of 'plastic' chocolate, a combination of white chocolate and corn syrup. The dogs are hand-molded from plastic chocolate as well, and are painted with food coloring using a paintbrush. My cake symbolizes each of CS’s three years. The bottom layer represents the first year, 2008-2009, and the original tan web page design. The second tier represents the second year, 2009-2010, when the jungle theme was introduced. The final level represents the most recent year, 2010-2011. It features the new purple flower design that was introduced when the site and forum were combined. Each of the three tiers features three dog designs from that year, including the Joker, Clear-Eyed Galaxy, and Sunback from Year 1; the Tess Wood Angel, Green Warrior, and Strawberry Dessert from Year 2; and the Pink Zombie 2nd Gen, Purple Final Fantasy, and Light-Backed Cocoa Galaxy from Year 3. The very top of the cake features Avian, Tess’s fursona and unofficial mascot of CS, preparing to celebrate Chicken Smoothie’s fourth year with her own purple cupcake. The entire cake was prepared by myself and took about 7-8 hours to complete. P.S. Thank you to Tess for notifying me that my final cake pictures had not uploaded properly.
