My cake has been made, from scratch, out of entirely edible (and yummy seeing as we have eaten some!) Icing/frosting, and regular vanilla flavoured sponge cake apart from a couple of wooden toothpicks holding the Chicken Smoothie and straw together. I first iced the cake with a buttercream top layer, and normal icing around the edges of the cake. I decided to put on it a picture of a Zebra (one of my favs on here) to represent my goals, a white adolescent Malk dragon (as Malk is one of my favourite artists and I *adore* dragons, and the sunjewel dog as this is from when CS started and shows that Tess's template was brilliant right from the word 'go'! I think it shows the variety of pets on here too. Obviously, there is then a chicken smoothie (made fom fairy cakes stacked on each other, wrapped in icing with a butter icing mix for the contents), and 'Happy BDay' around the cakes' edge itself. I would like to say this is all obvious but it looked better in my head than when I actually made it! XD All the various bits and pieces took me about 4 days to finally complete, but still I'm happy that I did it. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to write this here but if not it can be deleted....I had to wait until the Easter holidays to be able to make this as my kids were wanting to mke theirs for their account too, but we all had an extremely good (and messy, lol) time - even if all our friends and family are trying to munch their way through 3 cakes now! :)
