Name: Formosa
Story: Rain pattered down onto her elegant wings. She raised them, so they covered most of her body, protecting her almost completely from the rain. She ducked under a huge evergreen tree, to protect her from the rain. She curled up, and found herself immediately falling asleep. The next morning was a bright and sunny one. She was feeling bright and cheerful. She got up, stretched, and raced out from under the tree. It was a beautiful day. The trees where gently swaying from side to side, and the sun warmed her fur. She raced along happily. She met up with her pack, just in time to hear that she would join the hunting patrol. Yes! She thought. As the pack moved out of the camp, she scented the fresh scent of deer ahead. "Over there!" one of them barked. The pack raced after the prey! Her paws beat down on the ground as she ran faster and faster. Gravel and dirt was flying behind her. She was so concentrated on the hunt, that she didn't notice what lay ahead.
Crash! Bump! She crashed into a tree. She felt dizzy for a moment, then tried to get up and leave. No use, one of her horns were stuck! She heard a laugh behind her as she tried to struggle free. She whipped her head around as much as she could, to see who was mocking her. Behind her stood another female Ryuk, whom she had never seen before. She had thick, tan fur and blazing blue eyes. She giggled. "Got yourself into quite a mess, huh?" Formosa growled. "Now, now, I don't mean harm, I can help you." the other female smiled. "I'm Daisy by the way." Her smile was so nice that Formosa couldn't help but smile back. She introduced herself as well, and joined in laughing as she imagined how awkward she must look, with her horn stuck in a tree.
They caught up with the rest, and Daisy introduced herself. "I came a long way to join your pack," she said. The lead hunter eyed her up and down. He growled. "Well you came for nothing, we can't just accept every stranger that comes along into the pack." Formosa and Daisy exchanged surprised glances. The lead hunter was about to turn back, when Formosa ran up and whispered something in his ear. "She rescued me when I got my...er...horn stuck in a tree." The lead hunter looked at her, then sighed. He turned to Daisy. "Okay, you can join, Welcome to the pack." Formosa and Daisy smiled at each other. They remained best friends forever.
