Livius At Home

Postby maluruloki » Sun Jan 15, 2012 2:56 pm

My Wild Mountain Equid, Livius, doing the daily rounds of his territory high in the mountains. This little spring-fed creek is one of his favorite pausing points due to the glorious view of the plains below and how the air is moisture-laden.

I think he's a gorgeous creature myself. :)

...can you tell I started going ADD by the time I reached that far horizon on the plains? Urrrrrg...my wrist hurts.

For those of you interested in a wonderful tutorial on how to draw flowing water, rain, and reflections on water, I found this tutorial to be fabulously useful as well as easy to follow.

Kind critiques appreciated. I'm really just getting into backgrounds.

~Shimmer~ and RPFLightMyFire,

Thank you! The mist and the rocks were fun to work on, since I don't normally put that much effort into backgrounds. It was kind of soothing and zen-like. :)
