Tuboa Frogs: A Brief Description;
Tuboa frogs are a rare mutation of tree frogs found only in the southern parts of the Amazon's canopy. They come in every color from red to purple to yellow, and also can have designes on their skins; like leopard print. The rarest of the tuboa have rainbow skins and have white print over it, while the most common are one solid color. During the 1920's, there was a large demand for this species's skins and eyes, so they almost became extinct. All hope was lost for wild tuboas, until two pairs of males and females with the most beautiful colouring were found with 4 children from each pair. With vigerous protection these beautiful amphibians were repaired to health. Now, tuboa frogs ar plentiful and need homes, so adopt one!
