We are OPEN!
Introduction
Hey guys! I've been slightly bored lately so I figured I could do an adoptable thing. I did not make this lineart, credit goes to Spotty! I do customs (I only accept picture references or really good descriptions) and pre-made wolves. For pre-made wolves, adoption if like a mini "contest". Any number of people can apply for that one wolf, but only one will own it in the end. Each will have their due date on its thread, and judging of forms usually takes about a day or so. Some wolves will be a baby, pup, or adult. If any are younger than adult, then they will grow once adopted. For a baby, once adopted it may take less than 5 days. Pup, less than 4 days. Customs don't do the same thing. All three (3) stages are displayed. Of course, they're free. Okay, so below are some questions you may ask, or others have asked. Please PM me or post below if you have any questions, comments. etc.
Q: How do I know if a wolf is for adoption, in judging, or already adopted?
A: Green Dot = Accepting forms for adoption
Red Dot = Not accepting forms for adoption, currently judging
Blue Dot = Was adopted once, but given back
Name = Already adopted (customs will have names too)
Q: Can I be a voluntary artist?
A: Of course you can! Just PM me with any examples of colored in art you have and I'll add you to the color list and artist list. When someone requests you as an artist for a custom, I will PM you their form. You can also just make a wolf any time you like, and you get to judge the forms and when the due date is, etc.
Q: Do I get to choose the gender of a pre-made wolf?
A: No. The artist who colors it chooses what gender they wish it to be. The only time you can choose gender is when you order a custom.
Q: How many times a week/month/etc. can I apply to adopt a wolf?
A: You can apply as many time as you like. Just don't expect to win every time.
Q: Are they free?
A: Of course they are!
Q: Can I PM you or post ideas for patterns/colors for pre-mades that the artists can use?
A: Of course you can! We would love your opinion and ideas you could offer. ^^
Q: Will you make adoptable dogs and/or other canines?
A: Well, I probably will. Since Spotty is so kind, the artists and I can change the lineart any way we'd like. Which means I can make a floppy ear dog. Or change the tail to make it look like a fox. Although, they can only be changed to look like any animal in the canine family.
Q: Are they only realistic or fantasy colored?
A: Both. Realistic base with unrealistic markings, vice versa. Completely realistic or unrealistic. We like to be creative!
Q: Wings & accessories?
A: Well, maybe. I, personally, am not good with designing attractive wings or accessories, but any of my artists are allowed to add them to pre-made. If a custom is ordered and accessories are wanted, I may just ask a different artist to color it or something until I've had practice.
Q: Can I return a wolf after I've adopted it?
A: Why, yes. You can. Canines with blue dots means they've been adopted once, but their adopter has decided to give them back. They are for adoption again. But, they have different forms. Their story is already written out, they already have a name, etc. Just read the forms carefully to find the correct one. I know what you're probably thinking, "Why can't I rewrite their history?" Well, can you rewrite the history of a dog in a real life pound? No. You can change the name though.
Q: Can I return a custom?
A: Yes, you can. Same rule for the above.
Q: Can I breed wolves from these adoptables?
A: Well, the answer changes to what you're thinking. If your form is chosen at the end of judging, then the canine is completely yours. You can color in linearts of them as much as you please. You can breed them to others that weren't even made in this adoptables. They're completely yours. But, if you want to breed two canines that you (or another person) has adopted from this, then you may. Just scroll down and look for forms. Keep in mind that they aren't like customs, they will inherit from both parents and then some.
Rules
1. Be respectful to others and don't throw a huge fit if you don't win a wolf you really wanted.
2. Don't copy a wolf's design from here, especially if someone other than you owns it. It's called art theft. If it's your wolf now, then you can do refs of it.
3. If you want something tweaked on your custom, then just post it on its thread and the artist who made it will fix it.
4. Pre-mades are not to be tweaked at any point unless it was a WIP.
5. Artists: If you make a pre-made wolf, you set the due date and you judge the forms and you choose the winner. No oher artist can do that 'cause you colored the wolf, not them.
6. If you have any questions, ideas, etc. then feel free to PM me or post it here.
7. Each artist has three (3) custom slots. This means that only three (3) people can request a custom from that artist at a time.
8. If you wish to return a wolf you've adopted form here, then please PM VineStar12 with the correct form that you can find at the end of this post. And FYI, VineStar12 is me.
More rules will be added when needed!
