Echo sat down, he looked up at the stars and thought to himself, "Do I mean something..." He looked down at his paws and then out to the open pasture ahead. "Or am I just...just...a useless mutt?" A wisp of air brushed through his matted, muddy fur, "Wh-" He saw a formation of a wolf head in the stars, the wind whispered, "Echo....Echooo....Echoooo!" Echo jumped, "Wha- Wha- What?!" The wind stirred, "Echo...don't underestimate...yourself...you can do...fantastic things....you just need to...look inside of yourself...follow where... the pit of your heart...leads you..." Echo looked down and a tear streamed down his cheek. "I...can't. I can't. I....CAN'T." The wind whooshed, stirred, boomed, and nearly knocked Echo over. He was fast to his feet and a bit scared. The wind yelled "ECHO....Nonsense!" Echo's eyes were wide open...he was downright terrified of what the wind was capable of doing...and he knew what was going to happen, so he just stood there, waiting. Sure enough, the wind whirled and it twirled, creating a whirl wind. It picked Echo up and dropped him in a small, shallow lake. The wind said "You know you can start with a bath..." The wind picked up speed, also picking up water. It stopped, which made the water plop right on Echo's head. He got the idea and rolled around in the clean, cold water. "Now...food..." the wind said, echo cocked his head. "Well, where are we `gun find FOOD in the middle of all these tree- wait...ELK!" Echo pointed his nose to a bull elk far off in the field, he crouched down low in the tall grass, then charged......
