Name and gender you'd give to the Aegolius: Wind and it would be a female. Why do you want especially this Aegolius? Because I LOVE blue and I love the light brown mixed with it. It's a perfect contrast and I think you did a great job!
Do you have allready an Aegolius? No I applied for a slot in the competition but you said you couldn't see the results. [thanks for the praise on the patterns though!;)] And I cannot wait to see the results of these great ones, even if I don't own them!

I looked at the little hatchling. it was adorable! My dad looked at it and confirmed my suspisions. It was a female! Due to the size he was positive. I pulled out a juicy nightworm and put it near the little females beak. She cheeped and opened wide. I placed it in her beak and she swallowed I fed her several more.
"She needs a name you know?"My mom said petting her blue feathers softly. I looked at the tan/brown swirls and the breexe ruffled them lightly."Wind."I said softly. I picked up a small soft bug and fed her that too. She ate it and was full, she fell asleep softly and she lay there breathing lightly I stroked her feathers, "My little Wind...
