Feel the white-hot tongue on your skin,
It takes little to prove that the flame will win.

Know all the dangers, know them well,
Though there is no escaping what rises from hell.

No matter how fast, there's no way to run,
This horrid beast is quite terrible fun.

Harness fire's power, dear, harness it well,
For to these deadly sparks, too many have fell.

That's what Bilbo Baggins hates
Smash the bottles and
burn the corks!

Cut the cloth
and tread on the fat!
Pour the milk on the pantry floor!
Leave the bones on the bedroom mat!
Splash the wine on every door!

Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl:
Pound them up with a thumping pole.
And when you've finished if any are whole,
send them down the hall to roll!
