English Lop

Postby Elf Of Chaos » Fri Sep 16, 2011 7:44 am

My First ever English Lop ( hand or mouse drawn), my first Editable, and the first Mouse drawing I really tried on! Pretty Proud, I feel as though I could make a few things better, such as the Belly and the closer ear. But not bad for a newb.

:o I love english lops. I used to have a Velveteen, which is a mix of a mini rex and a english lop, so it had the fur of the mini and body and ears of the english. :)

Yup i breed mini rex, english lops, and i'm getting a rex buck to start velveteens. Mini rexes are too small to breed with these guys. Mini rex is 3lbs elop is up to 10lbs. Standards rex are what they use for velveteens they weigh about 8 lbs.

Here they used minis to breed velveteens, we dont have alot of Standards around, but plenty of minis.
I raise Hollands, and I do have a random jersey and netherland running around.

lol you have 3 of my least fav. breeds. I tried to breed a mini to a larger rabbit once and the doe sat there while the buck got nothing done. and she was smaller than an e lop. and a buck e lop bred to a doe mini rex, could kill the doe, so I'm wondering if maybe your minis are larger than ours? standerds are not common at all here. I JUST found the only breeder within 100 miles of me that breeds them.
