Updated. You can only name it after it is full grown 'cuase markings and color change as it grows and the name may not fit after it is grown.

Updated, if it hasn't alreayd been explained they grow when thier stats (example: 5/8/4) go up to a certain level. When one of the stats gets to 10 thye grow to stage two and when one of the stats gets to 40 they grow to stage 3.
