Being the faithful Bleach fanatic that I am, I felt it necessary to create an RP that will, hopefully, do the series justice. And if just looking at the lengthy rules section didn't get you fired up to the point of spontaneous combustion, just wait till you read them! :D Have fun, and I look forward to RP'ing with you. .3.

1: All of the forum rules apply, some of which will be restated below.
2: This is a semi-literate/literate role-play... I'd like it to stay that way, please.
3: You can play a character from the original series, but I'd really prefer it if you made your own.
4: If you do happen to play a character from the series, stay true to their personality. >.<"
5: PLEASE be realistic. If your character is a captain, then they should be on captain level. Rukia is not on captain level. Kira is not on captain level. Orihime isn't even a Shinigami, and if she was, she'd be an unseated officer.
6: Be nice, and keep the drama inside of the RP. If somebody's character insults your character, they mean no offense to you.
7: You may separate out of character (OOC) text from your actual role playing in anyway EXCEPT via parentheses, as these can be used in the actual post. You can use "(())" though, instead of just one pair of parenthe—whatever.
8: All content must be kept PG, or mild PG-13. This supposed to be a child friendly site, and you never know how old the other person is. They could be anywhere from 5 to 105.
9: In accordance with the above, block out some of the text with '***' if your character cusses.
10: You are free to have as many characters as you are able to handle. But (and I'm really bad about this), if you have more than one character, don't just use one of them and leave the other one to rot.
11: If you are using a reference picture instead of providing a description, please link back to where you got it from.
12: Please try to type at least two lines per post. I understand if you have writers block (BELIEVE me, I do), in general, I'd prefer if you try to make posts a bit longer.
13: Keep the OOC only posts to a minimum. I really don't want this topic to be locked.
14: If I don't notice your form/your not on the members list, please PM me, I'll be happy to fix it for you.
15: I will be readily accepting recommendations for mini-plots/additions to the RP. Think away!

Rin Ryusaki
Personality
Rin is usually very confident, warm, and friendly, though she can't be called gentle. She's a bit of a know-it-all, and free advice is always available in an abundance; especially where it's not wanted. She gets bored easily, and serious people like her captain, tend to find her a bit annoying, though she pays not attention. Rin can be a smart aleck, and usually has the upper hand in arguments, even if she's incorrect, and often appears unfazed by other's remarks. However, she's not as silly as she often comes off as, and capable of remaining cool and level headed even in stressful situations. Despite her cheery personality, she has a deceptively short temper and won't tolerate insults (particularly those pertaining to her short stature or general appearance.)
Appearance
Rin is short for her ''age'' at only 4' 11", something that she tends to be fairly sensitive about. She has elbow-length, wavy/curly light brown hair, which she usually keeps down, sometimes obscuring her left eye. When she does put it up, it's usually pinned up on the back of her head, or with her bangs clipped back. Her eyes are a violet with a blue tint. She wears the standard shinigami uniform, with the sheaths of her zanpakutō on her right & left hips. She's somewhat busty.
History
Grew up in District #64 of Rukongai, and lived there up till about ten years ago. She knew that life in Seireitei was much better then she would ever have in Rukongai, and trained in the forests outside of her district. She was able to enter the Shinō academy on her second try, and graduated in a little more than two years, achieving 8th seat of the twelfth squad upon qualifying, and after roughly a year, she was promoted to fourth seat. She requested a transfer to squad ten, hoping that the new captain would offer her a higher position. She was given the second seat (lieutenant) and has been in that position ever since.

Kyu Ketsuki (Japanese for "Vampire")
Appearance of Zanpakutō
Kyu Ketsuki (spirit form) is two young, completely identical women (about eighteen or nineteen), thin with pale skin and straight bright white hair that has a silver tinge and long blunt bangs that cover their foreheads. Kyu Ketsuki wear long, old-fashioned black dresses, with puffy elbow length sleeves that expose the majority of their shoulders, and a fairly low neckline. The dress also comes down very low in the back, revealing their enormous leathery black bat-like wings (usually folded up against their back). They have long canine teeth that almost protrude from their mouths and can give them a somewhat menacing appearance. They have long pointed fingernails, and bare feet. Both have dark indigo/purple eyes.
Inner World
Rin's inner world is a small room in a Medieval tower, with a large window on one side overlooking a surrounding forest. The moon is always full and huge, and the sky is always cloudless and without any stars. There's a flickering torch in one corner, lighting a spiral staircase (though she doesn't know where it leads).
Personality
The zanpakutō are very calm, and will not speak unless spoken to. They're proud, and though the two get along with each-other very well, never arguing amongst themselves & referring to one another as "sister". The left Zanpakutō speaks more often then the left. They have a hate-love relationship with their master, often finding her ignorant or foolish (and saying so). In spite of their calm dispositions, they are very irritable and competitive.

Like this, except maybe with a slightly darker hilt. Plus there's two of them.
Shikai Release Command
"Hezuru" (Partake)
Appearance while in Shikai
Rin holds both blades horizontally to her sides and says the release command. The swords give off an eerie, iridescent light that runs the length of the blades. Kyu Ketsuki becomes a pair of huge, very heavily-curved, dark Chinese scimitars with silver edges and intricate, canal-like depressions cut into the flat of the blade; the swords are connected at the hilt by a thick crimson ribbon. They are identical, except that the left blade is sharper and thinner then its counterpart and has no guard—the right is a little sturdier with a slightly blunter edge. They are both very sharp & light, more so than a normal weapon.
Shikai Special Abilities
Ikinone Hosu ("life drain") - This is the special ability of the blade on her left. If it draws blood, whether from it's user or the opponent in question, it absorbs the opponent's health (more or less so depending on how much damage her enemy has taken). This is the reason it has no guard. It cuts into her palm, and the blood feeds the sword, healing any more severe injuries (ex. a wound on her back, chest, or stomach). But she rarely uses it to defend, preferring to guard with her right blade, and then coming around to strike with the left.
Chikara Hosu ("power drain") - This is the ability of the blade on her right. As opposed to left-hand sword, whose ability is only effective when it draws blood, its power is different in that it must hit the opponent's sword. The blade gives off the iridescent glow that it has when being released and transfers the opponent's strength to its wielder (more or less depending on how strong her enemy is). She can turn this ability off/on, as the blade will very slowly start to crack if the opponent is so strong that it can't handle the intake of so much spirit energy (if her enemy has laik a retarded amount of stronglyness :B).
Go Ken Ijo ("Health Transfer") - Rather then healing herself, she can choose to heal someone else, as long as they're near enough. (Lolz, that's about all there is to it. XP)

"Reiketsukan Kyu Ketsuki" ("Bloodthirsty Vampire"); Rin presses the both halves of Kyu Ketsuki together.
Appearance of Bankai
Kyu Ketsuki instead of being two completely separate swords, becomes one, extremely long daitō (Japanese long sword), All black, except for four silver, diamond shaped studs along the hilt. The guard is rectangular. Rin also gains a pair of enormous bat-like wings (I had too XD), similar to that of her zanpakutō.
Bankai Special Abilities
Flight - As part of her Bankai, the user receives a pair of enormous bat-like wings, which allow her to fly.
Increased Speed - The wielder's muscles are now much stronger and more compact, making them capable of great bursts of speed (an increase of about 50%, more so when flying).
Increased Strength - The user of the bankai's muscles are now stronger and more compact, allowing for greater physical strength (an increase of about 20%).
Changed Personality - Rin is now much colder and more vicious, though she is more levelheaded, logical, and thinks things through more carefully than before. Her personality is more similar to that of her zanpakutō.
Increased Stamina - On top of immunity to poisons and diseases, the wielder is also much more tolerant of attacks then they were previous to the release. This is an increase of about 50%.
Kokoro no Kontorōru ("Mind Control") - If she draws any amount of blood, no matter how small, from her opponent, she gains total control over their body for as long as she holds her Bankai. She can make them do anything she says; kill themselves, turn against their allies; anything as long as she's in her bankai.
Self-Drain - Rin has not yet mastered her bankai. It saps away at her power, so the longer she holds it, the more dangerous. As soon as she leaves her Bankai form, she is overwhelmed with exhaustion, often collpasing or fainting, even dying.

Hitsugaya is generally mature and serious, in contrast to his free-spirited lieutenant, Rin Ryusaki. Despite their personality differences, he and Rin seem very close. Tōshirō is shown to be easily annoyed by others goofing off or drawing unneeded attention to themselves. Hitsugaya hates anything that he deems childish as well as being described as something close to a child, such as an elementary school child, a further contrast to his appearance.
Appearance
Tōshirō Hitsugaya is quite short at 4' 4", has turquoise eyes and short, spiked, white hair, which tends to draw attention among Shinigami. He wears a standard sleeveless captain's haori with a green sash around his shoulders, held together by a round clip. The sash holds his Zanpakutō's sheath in place on his back and is tied to it at either end. He sometimes walks around in his tabi. He is relatively young by Shinigami standards and has the appearance of a child, about eleven to thirteen.
History
Hitsugaya comes from the province of Junrinan in the 1st District of West Rukongai. There, he lived with his grandmother. As a young child, Hitsugaya was a bit of a brat who liked to eat watermelons and poke fun at other children in Rukongai. Even at a young untrained age, Hitsugaya could hear the calling of his Zanpakutō spirit, Hyōrinmaru. Despite this he never told anyone and couldn't accurately determine what was happening other than to assume it was an ever recurring dream.

The true form of the spirit Hyōrinmaru is that of a gigantic, ice blue, serpentine ice dragon with large wings and an echoing voice.
Inner World
An empty void with an icy haze hovering over the ground.
Personality
He is portrayed as calm and silent, only speaking when it is something of importance. His composure is great enough to even put up with the juvenile antics of his fellow Zanpakutō spirits, even when he is caught in the middle of it.
Sealed Form
Hyōrinmaru; When sealed, Hyōrinmaru looks like a normal katana with the exception of the guard, which is in the shape of a four-pointed bronze-colored star. Its hilt is light blue and sheath dark blue. The sheath completely dissolves when he draws his sword. The sword is somewhat longer than most Zanpakutō, at about 1.4 meters long, making it taller than Hitsugaya, preventing him from wearing it at the hip. Instead he carries it on his back by his green sash over his right shoulder.

Hyōrinmaru's release command is Sōten ni Zase ("Sit Upon the Frozen Heavens"). In its Shikai, Hyōrinmaru extends slightly in length, and gains a crescent-shaped blade attached to its hilt by a long metal chain, which can extend greatly if necessary by force of will. Shikai Special Abilities
Shikai Special Ability - Hyōrinmaru allows Hitsugaya to control water and ice. His slashes create an immense amount of spiritual power which overflows from the tip of the blade, creating a flow of ice shaped like a Chinese dragon. The dragon flies towards opponents and instantly freezes anything it touches. Hyōrinmaru can create multiple ice dragons to attack an opponent from various angles. Hitsugaya can also direct his slashes towards the ground and form a wave of ice which rushes over his opponents, overwhelming and freezing them. The chain-blade also freezes anything Hitsugaya traps with it. The power it expels is so overwhelming that in Soul Society (where Hitsugaya is not placed under a limiter), its mere release affects the weather within the immediate vicinity, creating a thunderstorm or a blizzard.
Tensō Jūrin ("subjugation of the Heavens") - One of Hyōrinmaru's basic powers, as well as its strongest. It allows him to control the weather in the immediate vicinity, or more specifically, control the water in the surrounding atmosphere. The ability is usable in both Shikai and Bankai modes. However, Hitsugaya states that this aspect of his powers is not fully mature and that he doesn't like to use it in Bankai mode, as he is unsure of whether or not he could control it and keep it from killing everyone in the vicinity.

Appearance of Bankai
causes ice to flow from Hyōrinmaru onto Hitsugaya, starting at his right arm which ice forms onto in the shape of a dragon's head around his sword hand, encasing the sword up to the hilt; which also changes from the shape of a four-pointed star to that of eight-pointed star. The ice continues forming up over his shoulders with two large wings sprouting from his back and a long tail. The ice forms down his left arm encasing his hand which ends in a claw. Hitsugaya's feet are encased in ice in a similar manner to his left hand which as they to end in claws. These new ice limbs are movable and can be used as an extension of himself to aid in battle. During some appearances of his Bankai, three flowers of ice form floating behind him, each consisting of four purple petals shaped like diamonds. These petals melt away petal by petal as Hitsugaya's battle progresses, and take a while to regenerate.
Bankai Special Abilities
Bankai Special Ability - Hyōrinmaru's Bankai has several additional techniques.
Bankai Regeneration - As long is there is water in the atmosphere, Hitsugaya's bankai can quickly regenerate.
Zanhyō Ningyō ("lingering ice puppet") - Upon activating his Bankai, Tōshirō is able to create and shape a large amount of ice into his exact likeness. It is very life-like as it can appear to bleed. He stated that he can usually only trick an opponent once with it, so he usually saves it for towards the end of a battle.
Shield of Ice Wings - Hitsugaya is capable of wrapping his wings around himself like a sphere protecting him from any attacks.
Ryūsenka ("dragon hail flower") - When Hitsugaya stabs his opponents, a huge burst of ice erupts from the point of contact between Hyōrinmaru and the opponents, encasing and freezing them. Hitsugaya can then proceed to shatter the ice and his opponent with it.
Sennen Hyōrō ("thousand years' ice prison") - Hitsugaya creates many ice pillars which encircle him and his enemy. At his command (when he turns his sword 90 degrees counter-clockwise), these pillars then move towards the enemy, enveloping and crushing it. Though this technique is very powerful, Hitsugaya infers that it takes a considerable amount of time to prepare, and therefore the distraction of his enemy is crucial in successfully completing this attack.
Hyōten Hyakkasō ("frozen heaven hundred flower funeral") - This ability is an extension of Hyorinmaru's Tensō Jūrin power. However, because Hitsugaya dislikes using Tensō Jūrin while his Bankai is active, he rarely uses it. The ability opens up a huge hole in the clouds through which a large amount of snow falls down on to his opponent. As the snow comes into contact with the opponent, ice flowers sprout all over their body, instantly trapping them in a pillar of ice. Hitsugaya claimed that when the last of the 100 petals falls, the life of the one who touched it will be over.
Guncho Tsurara ("icicle flock"): Hitsugaya can transform water into ice and then swing his Zanpakutō in an arc which fires an array of ice daggers at his target.
Hyōryū Senbi ("ice dragon swirling tail") - With this technique, Hitsugaya swings his sword in a linear direction and creates overflowing ice from his blade in the form of a crescent.
Zekku ("void sever") - This ability allows Hitsugaya to control his Hyouryū Senbi technique and send it up into the air.Also, lots of Hitsugaya's form was copied & pasted from the Bleach Wiki. ;]

Personality
Ryu is very reserved and extremely quiet. He is respectful to those who respect him, but he hardly shows emotion and remains distant from others. He keeps his thoughts and feelings to himself and would not speak his mind unless you are a close friend. His personality may change over time but it would only vary on how strong your bond is with him. If he had just met you, you may not get much out of him. His pride is very valuable to him and his temper is extremely short-fused.
Having a romantic interest only makes him feel vulnerable and open, he will always tend to veer away from such feelings. But if you gain his interest and attention you may get a few signs but you may have to chase him and work at this. Once you pass his cold glares and outer walls of his personality you will soon meet a totally different Ryu.
Despite his cold apparence, he is very gentle and kind. He can be extremely protective over friends. Ryu is very observant and will study anyone from head to toe, sometimes picking up on the smallest of things that others may overlook.
Ryu is not the smiling type, his expression will often be cold, grim, or serious. His loyalty his true and the worst possible way to hurt him both mentally and emotionally is by betrayal. He is very dependable but he tends to be independant himself.

Lilium Malum
-Lilium is latin for the flower, innocence, purity, and beauty.-
-Malum is latin for evil, mischief, misfortune.-
Appearance of Zanpakutō
Lilium Malum has the appearence of a teenaged female. Slim in body build with the average height and weight. Her skin is slightly pale but yet flawless. Due to Lilium Malum having a split personality, her eyes and hair change color. Lilium prefers to have snow white hair with deep blue eyes while Malum gains black hair with red eyes.
Inner World
This world is like standing on a mirror. Everywhere you turn is nothing but white. But once you look down it is pitch black and every step you take disturbs the dark floor, like walking on still water. There is no sky, no wind, nothing. Just the echo of your voice and footsteps. As Lilium walks amongst this world, you can see her and her opposite in the dark reflection
Personality
Lilium is basically Ryu's opposite, but she also has a split personality. One side is sweet and innocent, the other is daring and destructive. The innocent side is known as Lilium or Lily while the other is known as Malum, or Mal.
Lilium is talkitive and fun-loving, she is against all means of violence and hopes to see the world at peace one day, which we all know is never going to happen, but Lily does what she does best and hopes for a better world. Lily can be annoying when she wants to be, her personality may take a familar shape of a young child.
Malum on the other hand is rebelious and a bit dark. Mal tends to be more destructive and will find any reason to fight. She can be spunky and a daredevil, but really she just lives for the fight. Causing pain and drawing blood on enemies is all she looks forward to.
But all in all, Lilium Malum is always in constant conflict with her inner battles.

Shikai Release Command
"To protect or to cause destruction, soar."
Appearance while in Shikai
Lilium takes form of two twin daggers with opposite colors. Her personality has offically parted into two different weapons, easy to tell apart.
Silver dagger is more on the defensive side than the black one, it is slightly thicker than the black dagger and not as sharp.
The black one however is the offensive weapon. It is thinner, much sharper, and a bit lighter than it's opposite.
Shikai Special Abilities
(Ryu is still learning his Shikai abilities)
Malum's mercy: When a target is struck with the black dagger, the wound tends to become much more painful than it really is. The more damage the target takes, the more excruciating the wounds become.
Malum's fangs: When ever needed, the black dagger (Malum) turns into a handful of throwing knives for Ryu to use.
Lilium's scream: Whenever Ryu is wounded, this ability allows him to gradually heal. But this all depends on Ryu's energy level. If he is too exhausted then this process can be very slow but a little faster than normal wounds. The more energy Ryu has, the faster the healing process. Depending on Lilium's mood, she can heal others but this stops her from helping her owner.

Hence his name "Ryu", meaning dragon, Ryu undergoes a slight transformation. His pupils turned into a diamond shape, similar to a cat's, and he gains a reptile-like tail as well as leathery black wings. His hands and feet turn into claws and he growns canines. Some parts of his skin turns into scales, especially his arms and legs. His ears turn slightly into a pointed shape as well as his tounge when he decides to speak. Basically half-human half-dragon.
Bankai Special Abilities
Ryu's speed and agility increases greatly but his attacks don't pack much of a punch. Reason why is because when he finds a weakness in an opponent he wails on it until his opponent is rendered defensless. He hardly ever speaks in this form but when he does it has a hiss to his voice.
His abilties are still being discovered.
