Okay, I hope this is the right place to put this...if not can it be moved to the right place? But Ive been having issues with my cat.
Well, my one year old cat, Snickers, hasnt been feeling so good. Normally he is playful and snuggly. Then, the other day he was throwing up. Pretty normal; throwing up catfood. But then he was throwing up cat food anymore. He starting throwing up what looked like a foamy spit. Over and over. I was worried so I googled what was wrong. It was saying something about getting plant toxin inside of him or swallowing a cat toy/having a toy lodged in his throat. My dad and I checked his throat, nothing was stuck there. Im not sure about plant toxins but my Mom says thats not the case.
Then, we left for the day and came back home. Apparently he threw up something pink, what my brother & mom said was blood. I starting freaking out again and having anxiety. I ended up googling it again, and found more things that didnt make it better for me. Things saying 'Take your cat to the ER kitty room' or 'has a serious medical condition.' I didnt see what my mom and brother saw, so I dont know if it was blood or not.
And now Snickers stays near me, curled up not being snuggly or anything. And he just mopes about now. We cant afford to take him to the Vet right now, sadly. I really just need other's opinions on this situation. Do we really need to take him to the vet; whats wrong with him; is this serious?
Thank you to those who can help<3

Have you given the cat anything new recently? Such as, food she's never had before or switched cat food? If you have, that could be the cause for the blood vomit.
I found this on google, not sure if it's accurate or not:
The following can be given at home to induce vomiting in a pet:
Hydrogen peroxide - 1 teaspoon orally every 10 minutes, followed by gently rocking the cat back and forth or jostling the abdomen for several minutes; repeat 3-5 times if necessary.
Ipecac - 1 teaspoon orally per 10 lbs. of body weight.
Best of wishes to your cat, hope she gets better.
"Why do you look so sad?" "I'm thinking about the economy"

AlleyCat isn't the best cat food brand

I'm not saying the catfood is why he's ill, this I do not have an explanation for, but I will tell you that Alleycat is not a good brand. It's like eating bland fast-food 24/7 instead of a balanced diet.

Inthedepths; Oh I never knew that....Just a question, what would be a good brand that doesnt cost alot; like a good deal thats a good brand? EDIT: Actually, I searched I found Innova. But personally, I dont think I could pay 30 dollars per bag..
petzcatz; Nope. No berry bushes. Either fake plants or these leafy plants that grow alot. Donwards almost like a vine type thing. But only with leaves.

I had something similar happen to my dog. I am not a cat expert but i can tell you what we did for my dog.
First off make sure your cat is drinking. You don't want him to become dehydrated as that can cause more problems. You can also give it ice cubes if it doesn't want to eat the water.
Try to see if your pet has a temperature. For dogs i know you can check their nose and feet but i am not sure about cats.
Also try to get your pet to eat some food. For my dog we gave him plain crackers, plain white rice, and plain bread. Just make sure you don't give something that will make your cat worse.
The yellow stuff that your cat is throwing up is bile and that is because he has nothing in his stomach to throw up.
If your cat does not get better or gets worse try to see a vet or try to go to a vet website in finding way to treat the cat.
We never found out what it was the made my dog sick but he did get better. Just remember to keep your cat hydrated.
Hope he gets well soon.
